After two blowouts on my old Monaco I still manually check my tire pressures before any long drive days or after sitting for a week. I rely on my TST for alarms on sudden tire pressure loss and pull over. After my front blowout and after seeing some of those RV crash pictures, I'm very careful with tire pressure and avoiding tire damage.
Good idea on the extension removal. Currently mine are operating within the 3 lb range I discussed so I will leave them alone for now. I read someone was using a braided extension line and getting good readings so may try that also.

We have TST. I replaced the 3" factory valve extensions with 3" extensions from CW. I now get good readings on the TST. Interesting, on one dual sensor, I can check air pressure manually and add air. One the other I still must remove the sensor to check/add air.

I have exactly the same problem with having to remove the sending unit to use a manual gauge. Not sure why Entegra doesn't install a system in these big machines like most manufacturer do today.

I have the TST507 and it is within 1-2lbs of a calibrated gauge. I don't use the TPMS to determine the pressure I want. I want the TPMS to tell me if I am developing a leak or if I have a tire overheating.

have TST also read out 2 lbs less then good gage, so adjust that in my head, what i like is they all say same within 1 lb after u start rolling & u know that u can't have that many tires going dn same time, so its a real good reference point.Nice low profile on dash easp on a C, no big ant sticking up,display is side ways
