There is a group on a Facebook
“RV Pricing and Value”

A guy by the name of David Lester runs it. The site is self explanatory. Read the “ pinned post” at the top of site for info

When we were considering getting a newer Tiffin I paid for several reports. One of which was what’s my 2008 Allegro Bus worth. The trade in value was included.

When NIRVC came within a couple of thousand of that number I felt I was getting a good deal and avoided the hassle of selling coach myself.

Facebook Site is free To check out. Lots of “thank you David” posts.

Laws of your state might enter into it too. Here on WA state we pay sales/use tax only on the difference if trading. Sell it yourself and you pay the sales tax on the whole price.
Saved us about $5,000 on our rig, plus no hassles with waiting to sell.
As to the deal we got, either they gave us $20,000 more than low blue book or took $20,000 off the asking price. I didn't care as I was paying the difference only.

We traded in our 2009 Jayco Insignia for a 2013 Entegra Anthem 42 DEQ, which has 19,200 miles on it now, and I cannot keep it.

We just purchased our new coach (2018 Aspire 44B) from Beaver Coach Sales in Bend OR. Awesome family owned business, incredible service area. They gave me a great price and gave me tips on selling mine. I didn't trade it in because I wasn't in a hurry do to the time of the season. By the way we take delivery in a few weeks so I'll try to post more about how that went. Just remember that on a trade you are negotiating 2 deals, one to sell and one to buy. depending on your trade and if it's a higher demand coach and condition should help you make that decision. If condition is great and it's newer and in demand you should get a better trade.

We opted to trade ours. We got way more in a trade than we expected and when the difference in sales tax got added in there was no way an outright sale made any sense. The dealer sold our trade in less than two weeks so it was a very salable asset. However, that being said, we really didn't want the hassle of trying to sell ours.

What are you selling? Is it an Entegra? We would also be interested to know what some of the tips Beaver Coach gave you, if you don't mind sharing. Thank you.

Regards,
