I got lucky. A real nice guy chased me about 2 miles down the road and informed me that my dish was still up. Lucky me, no damage except my pride. Now I physically check each time before I roll.

I don't have a Travler, but the coach dash display tells me if I try to move with the antenna up. I found that out when I was moving a few inches on a site after I was mostly setup.

Anybody else had this issue and what did you do to solve it?
Thanks in advance.
Update:
Talked to Winegard this morning. According to the tech, there is nothing they can do to solve a AZ Stalled Motor problem. They can walk you through getting on the roof and getting the antenna down manually. But apparently this problem requires a motor replacement. Because we can stay where we are long enough to repair properly. I had them send me the parts to fix it. They send full instructions with the parts and does not require any re-programming after parts replacement. Sounded pretty simple to take care of. I will update this after I have it repaired.

Yes sir. Not my favorite place to be. But then again it's only that first bounce that hurts.

Bob & Sandy,
I have had a stow issue twice Winegard supplied me with this sequence that worked. They said they do not ordinarily send these written sequence responses to faults. I have had success with this! Hope this helps.

The EL Calibration is as follows
Press and hold ENTER on the interface box until "Enter user Menu appears
Press "Select" to move the * next to yes, and then press "Enter"
Press "Select" until the * is next to "installation" then press "Enter
When asked for password, press enter 4 times
Press "Select" until the * is next to "Calibrate EL", and then press enter
It will then say "On EL Hard Stop" If the satellite is still pointing straight up, press "Select" to move the * next to yes, and then press "Enter"
It should say calibrate EL success. Once it does, press "enter"
Press "Select" until the * is next to "Exit"
It should now say "Power Off: yes/no Press "Select"to move the * next to yes and then press enter.

Hope this solves it. I have had the satellite stuck when stowing and this sequence has worked.

Thanks, but no luck. Still stuck facing up with the same error message "AZ Motor Stalled". Guess I will just have to get up there and replace the parts ordered per the tech at Winegard. Thanks for trying for me!

This is what Traveler walked me through on mine. It worked ... but sounds like you might have a different problem than we did. On ours, the middle part was sticking straight up and wouldn't go down. Good luck and keep us all posted. Lynn

Not my idea, my friend uses a wooden clothes pin and clips it on the brake release button so not to forget the antenna before moving coach. Then returns it somewhere on the operator of the antenna.
