I opened the dash for the first time to pull the SD card for updating.

I found the switches in the photo there. I am assuming they are there for programming, but how do you use them ?

Yes, those are the switches for programming your key fobs and/or authority code. You no longer have to do it the manual way of connecting a loose wire to 12v, but merely using the switch. Warning: if you do the key fob switch/programming, you have to do both fobs at that time, or the one not programmed will no longer work (according to the manual).

Wow, that’s handy. The 2017s need jumpers. Haven’t need to change the programming since the original setup. Still, not a bad feature.

My switches don’t look like yours with in the dash, different year coach, but I’ve had to reprogram my access and authorization codes on our TriMark door handle. This document will help. It also shows how to reprogram your key fobs.

You may want to find the latest document, from The TriMark site, and down load it for future reference.

That's Trimark's generic document which applies to all of their equipment. Entegra has made it much simpler by now giving us the switches so we no longer have to find the purple and/or yellow wires, and connect them to a 12v source.

Actually, that’s not true. I didn’t need to find any wires and was able to perform a reprogram of the authorization and access code. If you read the section, all you need to do is turn on the ignition and press the reset button three times and go through the procedure....
