It was the word "light" that threw me. My light is is the mirror and I couldn't understand how that could hold water. Victory Blue made it come together.

I just received the TSB, and called Entegra. It looks to be a simple DYI job, much easier than making an appointment with a dealer with travel time for those that are interested. It is just a matter of making a drip loop and clamping it to the wheel well frame. I will probably use metal clamps with rubber grommets, instead of plastic, and stainless steel screws that won't rust out.
I just reread the instructions. It looks like it can be done faster than airing up the coach and unhooking.
Buddy, thanks for making the post and bringing it to our attention. Just my luck, it would rain on the way to the dealer and short them out anyhow. Now I can avoid that.

Yes, fortunately, I have an authorized service dealer 10 minutes from my house. He ordered the parts already. I'll just grab them from him along with the instructions and DIY mine as well

I am fortunate I have the clamps and sealant on hand from other light projects on the 14. One more on the 19 is a piece of cake

Tsb #19-018
Mine went out during the first rainy drive in the coach. The dealer said the sensors were installed with no sealant whatsoever and being in the wheel well were subjected to a lot of water on wet roads. If you do the fix yourself you may not be able to make a warranty claim if they go out later. JMHO

I think Bart is right. Since they dont work anyhow, I am going to let them sit as they are and the next time I visit a dealer (seems like way too often), I will let them fix the problem. And the problem HAS TO BE MORE INVOLVED than a drip loop..... seriously? The problem has got to be that the sensors are not sealed correctly.... the drip loop just may make the water intrusion faster and easier, but I really doubt that is going to prevent the problem.

Mine doesn’t have a drip loop, but they have so much sealant on them I don’t see how water would get in and I’ve never had a problem.

Gary, the instructions Chuck posted specify sealing the sensors in addition to creating the drip loops. And if you do a good job sealing the sensors the drip loops are probably irrelevant.

Larry, you are correct. After reading the instructions the sensor are just like the clearance lights on the Classics that filled with water and had to be replaced. They were not sealed at all and leaked just like the sensors are doing. It will an easy fix for me as I have not driven in the rain and won't until they are sealed now that I know what the problem is. Some things from the Classics never die. They just moved them from the clearance lights to the new fangled sensors.

Chuck, they did that just for you. You know, so you wouldn't miss your Classic so much.
