Tst tpms

I have taken advice from others here and purchased the flow through TPMS from TST. I have a couple of set up questions:
1. Where did you mount the repeater and what is your power source?
On my 2019 Anthem, the chassis batteries are so close to the engine that I am concerned about excessive heat.
2. Where did you mount the display unit?

Thanks in advance for your help.
Gerard

While I do not have the TST (TireMinder i10) I mounted my repeater under there PS drive tire (I'm 40ft so no tag) and zip tied the power wire up to some wire loom that went back to my chassis battery compartment and added the ring connectors to the lugs. It's worked perfectly for 15K miles.

Gerald,

I mounted the repeater to the 12v rear closet light with an in-line fuse. I have the display unit mounted on the large drivers side window at the bottom front corner with the suction cup.

I mounted mine in the chassis battery box and wired directly to the batteries. I mounted my display on dash to left of steering wheel and right above the light switch.

2014 Anthem, repeater just in front of DEF tank, which is right in front of chassis batteries. Connected to same.
Monitor is suction cupped to warning stickers on drivers side window.
Later...

I put my repeater in the ceiling cavity above the bathroom sink light (removed light, connected repeater to light DC feed, stuffed into the cavity with bubble wrap, reinstalled light). The bathroom of my RV is right over the rear axle and also offers a straight shot from head level towards the cab.

Mounted my repeater in the rear closet as well, put a switch on it so I can turn it off when not driving. I usually let the monitor sit between the 2 cup holders in my rig on the flexible stand that it just sits in.

lavocat...Smart investment in your family & coach..you won't regret it! I mounted my repeater midship where my house & chassis batteries are & put alligator clips on the repeaters + & - to the house batteries. Been using the TST System for 9 years now & has performed flawlessly & just upgraded to the new 770 display for my 8 flow thru sensors.

I mounted mine in the bedroom TV compartment. Picked up a 12v source. Workers great for all rear axles and trailers. Clean & dry.
No lost sensor signals ever.

There is an excellent chance that you don't need the repeater. On my 2015 Anthem with TireMinder, I never added the repeater.... tried it without installing the repeater and it worked just fine and never "lost" the toad tire pressures. On this Cornerstone, I bought the TST set up for the Cornerstone as I'm "thru" with the Valor system..... too little battery "life" and too much cost to replace.

Like a bone-head, I left all the sensors at home before starting this 3,000 0 4,000 mile trip.... dumb. Now I have all the time in the world to install it, and the sensors are home.

But there is a good chance that you don't need the repeater at all.... try it without installing first and see how it works. If not good, then you have a lot of suggestions !

Ditto. Mine is also mounted there:
depending on the direction of the sun, the LED display can get washed out. They offer a visor which they claim helps. I've not felt the need to get one.
