My son decided to attend University of Arizona. Does anyone have any good suggestions on nice RV parks around or near campus? Thanks in advance!

Voyager.

Very nice facility. It's a Encore / Thousand Trails park. But you don't have to be a member. Also participates in Passport America.

Rin Con West. We wintered there and really liked it.

You'll get more response to your inquiry if you'd post it in the Campground Locations community forum then just in the exclusive Entegra forum.

My wife and I discovered Mission View RV Park SW of Tucson. It is maybe 5 miles southwest of the University and a nice place. It is a standard RV park with virtually all sites back in. It is a combination of a motorcoach/5th wheel "itinerant traveler" sort of place with few permanent residents in that area, coupled with a much larger area of park models on the other side of the park. Sites are full service, clean, and nice. Not opulent, but fine and access to Tucson is good and there are lots of commercial establishments near. The airport is far enough away that airport noise is not terrible until the planes are taking off to the east and then you hear each of them go (but they dont depart in the night). The park is located on Indian Reservation land and you dont pay tax for your stay. We have been there twice and will go back.

University of Arizona campus is very nice. Its an urban setting but the campus is largely clustered within a circumscribed area. It is not a fully urban university where sometimes you cannot tell where the campus begins and the commercial district ends. My wife and I have spent our lives on university campuses and U Arizona impressed us as a good environment.

Also, GoodSams and Passport America related.

The closest to the University is probably Sentinal Peak. Nice, but very small and crowded. Liked Mission View better.

X3 for KOA Lazydays as it is a very nice RV Park close to Univ Arizona. Catalina State Park is about 15 miles away and takes about 1/2 hr each way to college.

Concerning the LazyDays KOA. We stayed there last year. Nice park, very big. Easy for big rigs. They offer some (est 40-50) large RV sites under these giant sunshades. As long as you are happy w cable tv and not Satellite they are great. Keeping the sun off makes your RV about 20deg cooler. If you are there in the winter you'd probably prefer an open site. As I recall the campground has numerous Orange and Grapefruit trees. We picked fruit and ate them.

Look at mobile home parks, like Ricon, that handle temps. They have good facilities - pools etc. It is easy to get around Tucson, so don't worry about getting close to the campus.
