TV Mount

Hello Everyone
We have an 2017 Aspire DEQ
Has anyone installed an adjustable wall mount to the main TV?
It would be nice to be able to move it around.
Would have to have a good lock for travel.
Thank you

Yes I put one in in August. We have traveled several thousand miles including to Octoberfest and back over some very rough roads and no rattles, squeaks or coming loose. My advise is to get the heaviest one you can get, mine is rated for 90 pounds and is very solid. Following are some pictures.

I've looked at it a couple of times it looks to me like you remove the Bose speaker and then remove the 4 screws out of the square base at the bottom. Have not done it but I have looked at it.

TV Mount

We just used a socket and ratchet to take the screws out of the back of the TV, it is not that hard to reach around the end. You do not need to take the original mount off the marble top, you will bolt the adjustable mount to it. It is really easier than it looks. You will need to extend the HDMI and other cables and bundle them to the new mount.

Very nice mount. I'm considering doing the same but am wondering about the sound. Once the TV's extended the sound bar is behind the TV. The bar produces all the mid and high range sounds and isn't particularly great at doing that. How much is the sound muted/distorted when the TV is extended?

To remove the TV from the Entegra bracket there is a single screw located at the bottom Center of the bracket that just needs to be loosened. Disconnect cables first and then just lift it up and off

I think you're referring to the front TV, not the TV above the fireplace.

The sound bar was a concern but it seems to us to be a nonissue after using it a while. We do not get the distortion or loss of sound that we feared. No you need to understand we are not stero or sound buffs that are particular about sound, I am sure those guys would completely redo the sound system anyway. All JMHO
