TV removal
Hello friends,
Wanting to update tv above fireplace in y 2014 Anthem. Does anyone know how the darned thing is attached/mounted. I’m sure it is a fairly simple process.

Duncan, which model coach? They did have different mounts.

Tv is attached to the mount, the mount is attached to the countertop. Hold the tv and remove the screws in the mount. Make sure you don’t scratch the countertop and lean over tv and disconnect all cabling. Lay tv down and remove the mount. You may have to modify mount for new tv. Reverse the process to install.

On my 44B the mount was a metal fabricated stand that was bolted to top of the fireplace Corian top with cap screws, washers, and nuts. The screws can be removed by accessing the nuts via the electronics cabinet on top of the fireplace. You'll remove the TV and the stand together. I'm assuming you have the original Samsung 4 series. You will not find a TV with mount holes that match the holes in the stand. You will need to modify the stand or get a flat wall mount to attach the new TV to the stand.

On my 14 Anthem there is 1 screw in the bottom of the TV. Remove it and lift the TV up off the back wall hanger.

Ray, someone must have made a modification to yours that I wish I had at the time, it would have made it easy to remove.
The OEM stand’s mounting holes are VESA mated.
As mentioned, any new bracket like an articulating one, would require new mounting hole on the OEM stand.
Sure makes it easy to swap connections with an articulating mount.

Different mounts in the RBQ and the B even though they were both 14's. My RBQ did not mount the same as my B does. Post #2

I have learned that not only is year and model important, but sometimes floorplan as well. Even the actual build date. My late 2013 build is way different from mid 2014 Anthems.
