That was then....now with the upgrades, which we never had, I am probably going to change my TV to a HD4000K and it's only 2 years old.
I just changed my 2 year old DirectTV Genie to a DISH Hopper in the S&B, what a difference, the Genie is already outdated compared to the Hopper 3. It time to update the MH already.

Voluntary replacement of a TV due to technology upgrades is one thing but having to replace a piece of junk Samsung because it craps out after 2 years is just wrong.

I have no idea how to remove the TV in my K model. The TV is hemmed in on 3 sides and only has a little access from below if the sound bar is removed. What's the best approach?

No argument there, and I won't even get started on the Samsung Microwaves. Having owned Samsung in the S&B for years, I learned there are different grades. I am sure the factory grade is about the same as "builder grade" in a S&B.

Learned a lot about Samsung a few years ago. We were in the market for a new large HDTV. Consumer reports ratings for this Samsung was high, as was the price. Talking with a friend, he had seen the same Samsung at Sam's Club a lot cheaper. So I checked it out.
I looked at both closely, and the initial model numbers were the same. The sub model numbers were different. So, started exploring those on the Samsung web site. BIG difference, including several key visual factors. The Sams Club unit looked the same, but had many fewer features. Easy to see why it was so much cheaper.
The moral is, if it is cheap in price, 90% of the time it is cheaply built. Do your homework. All that looks like a rose, ain't a rose.

Same information I received on the Costco models. That was from the Samsung Tech. Nice part about Costco, they do have the additional 2 year warranty. However the one I bought for the master bedroom did have to have all of the diodes replaced. They are Costco models only. As much as do not care for Best Buy, they do have the higher end models.....watch the sales or Amazon

Bob, I just checked mine with an inspection mirror today, same mount as yours. The sound bar is attached with Velcro to the counter top. Remove that to access the mounting screw. Just a little to left of center is a screw/bolt. Remove that with a 1/4 inch drive and the TV just lifts up and out of the mounting bracket. Looks like having 2 people, one to unplug the cables while one holds the TV is a must. Looks like an easy couple of minute job. Upgrading to 4000k looks to be an easy job.
