2022 Cornerstone. Def fills on both sides. Was same on my 2017 Anthem. I haven’t used a jug in many years.

Drivers side DEF fill is not on the D because of the slide out arrangement.
Most floor plans have the dual DEF. Most truck stops have DEF just on drivers side.
Many believe DEF from truck stop is easier but in most truck stops that is not an option for D floor plan Entegra’s.

Newbie question on the DEF pump at the truck stops. Let's use Loves as the example. I put in my TSD card, activate the pump and pump diesel. While the diesel pump is activated, does the DEF pump work as well? Can I pull forward, pump DEF into my DEF tank at the rear of the rig, and then have it all on the same charge/card?
Not knowing, I have been filling with Walmart DEF manually, with some spilling as mentioned before.

Not sure about Loves, but at TA, the pump asks if you want fuel, then asks if you want DEF. If you indicate yes to DEF, then you pump the diesel, the pump is ready for you to pump DEF, and at least with my coach, I ask my wife to watch me pull forward until the DEF door (on driver's side behind the tag tires) is beside the pump, stop and then the DEF is ready to pump. You have to push the DEF "button" to begin delivery, separately. Don't forget.... you have to push the DEF pump "button"! The pump might only give you a certain amount of time to get the DEF flowing, but it has worked easily each time. We don't rush but don't fool around either. When done fueling, we pull forward to the right position, and pump DEF.
And a few seconds later, both charges appear on the app. Very slick!

Same at Love's/Pilot/Flying J/Petro's etc. Define at payment diesel or both then when complete with diesel pull forward and pump DEF.

Same procedure except my wife just pulls up and stops when I give the signal.
The timeout is plenty long enough after diesel and before DEF. (At least a few minutes)
I have had a timeout after pumping diesel because the 18 wheel truck in front of my barely pulled up and then the driver disappeared for a few minutes. I did not have room to pull up to reach the DEF fill. All good. I got my DEF soon enough by going in and purchasing DEF only. I figure that guys is working and trying to make a living. A few minutes will not matter. That has happened only once.
I don’t milk the DEF into the tank. When the novel stops I stop. DEF registers full when done.

Yes, my DEF pumps/loads from the driver's side, and nicely fills the DEF tank. I ALWAYS open the passenger-side basement compartment door holding the DEF tank to ensure that the tank has actually filled, and it always has when the DEF nozzle won't dispense any more. Works just fine.

DEF Ideas
My 2018 Newmar has the second fill on the driver's side, but you can't see how much the tank is filling - so basically useless...
I use the 2.5 gal jugs, usually buy at Costco (cheaper and usually fresher than stations). In addition to Chuck's comment on putting the cap on slow and making sure that the tiny vent hose doesn't get kinked, I have found that if I uses a pair of channel locks and tighten the cap just a bit more than my "hand tight" - they don't drip at all. Every time I get lazy and skip getting the channel locks and the extra tightening - it's a dripper for sure...
Enjoy your new coach!!!

I stab another vent hole, up by the handle, the jugs drain a lot faster. Also, if the next fuel bay over (passenger side) is empty, I have used that pump, for the DEF, and fill up. That hose is always long enough to reach over, if you plan ahead. Takes less than a few minutes.

My DEF fills from the driver's side just fine without checking anything. I DO open the rear basement door on the passenger side after pumping to ensure that the tank is full before returning the DEF nozzle to the pump position, but I have never found the driver side DEF fill cap not to provide a full DEF tank. I also have a pretty good idea of how much the DEF pump should fill before full even before I start pumping DEF.
I have found one or two mal-functioning DEF nozzles which would not automatically fill the DEF without me holding the trigger the whole time and making sure the tank was full, but that was a bad nozzle and nothing to do with Driver-Side filling.

Thanks Bob I know, the only thing I’m not liking about this coach. But everything else is good. I took the advice and bought a fuel transfer device. It should make it simple as well.

That’s a great idea. I wasn’t sure it would reach from the next pump over. Thanks!
