Unusual Shade / Shade Controller problem

This is a goofy problem.

Passenger night shade only raises around 1/2 of the way when I press the Fornt Night Master button (the only control button for that shade).

If I then use the Creston iPad app, I can raise it the rest of the way. Whyizzit? At first I thought it was a failing shade motor (don't know why I would think that). If that were the case I wouldn't think the iPad app would work normally. Does anyone know if the G4 shade controllers respond differently to the push button keypad vs the iPad? This might be an Entegra CS question.

Try killing 12v power and see if it still does it. I had a shade doing that last summer, no ipad control, just switch. It's still working today and I thought I would be changing that motor.

Sadly, no. The front passenger night seems to come up at half speed and stops around the time the other shades are up - only half way.

The same shade operated with the iPad controller using the iPad app goes all the way up.

Bob,

Maybe your front shade control box has a connector or wires that are loose. The location, i believe is above the entrance door behind the panel.
