Updating Xite
So I finally got around to pulling the SD card out of the Xite on our Aspire.
I have everything installed, registered and trips created on the trip maker (I've had Rand Mcnally in the past and have used it successfully).
However, when I go to export trips from the trip maker to the SD card, I always get an error saying the passphrase is invalid. Reboots do nothing.
Has anyone else run into this ?

Ken this might just be me. I have had good luck with the Good Sam's in the past (same program but with the RV parks). GS was taken offline 4/1. I tried to use Trip Maker but was not having much luck with it.

I do use both. Even though Rand McNally doesn't have RV parks, I get the parks along my route in the GS (it doesn't appear their update allows saving trips directly on the site anymore. Instead, it sends an email with a link to your trip), and then use the address of the park(s) to add way points in the RM trip maker. I used to like being able to download the trip on my old RM GPS, but I have to wait until during the week to contact their support and I can't Monday as we will be enroute to Goshen.
Thanks for the reply.

Along the same thoughts, I update my Xite Maps every few months. But every time I turn Navigation on I get the message that my maps are over one year old. And that is right after updating. I just ignore the message since I know the maps are up to date but if anyone knows why this happens I would be curious for the reason.

Ken, I know you are now in route, but I had no luck with Rand McNally CS on Trip Maker. Two call and both CS reps told me I needed to update my card. Wha!? this is a computer. I realized I wasn't getting anywhere and went back to my old method of Google maps. I can't load it in the GPS, but I have my route planned with RV parks and I can loaded it to my phone which should also load to WAZE. If you get Trip Maker's glitch figured out, please post it.
While using RV Parky.com to find RV parks, it started doing a routing map between parks, that was kind of a nice surprise. Nice to have a second opinion of RV routes when not taking many Interstates.

Yep, my 15 Anthem did that, always said the maps were old. I, like you, ignored it for 3 years, and it was never a problem. It had the new updated maps but just had a glitch that always showed that message.
Try to forget it.
