Vacuum cleaner

Our on board Red Devil vacuum cleaner system is not working. I have searched for a circuit breaker or fuse to check in the usual places and I have been unable to find one. Does anyone know if it is a 120v or 12v, and where the breaker might be ?

It's 120V. Check to see if the outlet has power. If not, ground fault breaker, but I don't know where it is located on the new models. I think I have seen posted that it was in the electrical bay.

On our 17 there are no outlets in the basement that work on the inverter power. If you are running on inverters your dirt devil will not work.

We are on 50amp shore power. The power cable goes into a wiring bundle, with no outlet to be found in the cargo compartment. Our Aspire has a 120v outlet that was pretty obvious. I checked in the electrical bay and the washout bay and did not find an outlet.

Look in the Aqua Hot bay, that's where our dirt devil and outlet are located

Check the GFCI outlet by the basement thermostat

Thanks for the help ! I found the power source was in the aquahot compartment. I messed with the plug electrodes and now it works. So now I guess I will have to use it [emoji2]

I used mine once, then went out a purchased a light weight Tyson that hangs in the closet. At least I can be honest when I sell the coach and say. It's never been used".

I agree Chuck. I’m thinking a second charging station for my cordless Dyson. Is that what you have?

Our Dyson V-6 (or something) is now in the 1/2 bath; fit right on the hall wall next to the door.

Used my Red Devil central vac 3-4 times after I got my new coach several years ago. After using my vac the last time I went to get something out of the storage bay, HUGE mess in there. There was no bag in the vac and everything I sucked up was blown in the storage compartment. Lesson learned the hard way.

I purchased the small cordless Dyson at Walmart as the small power head gets between the bed perfectly. I hung it on a snap hook in the closet and lay it on the bed when it needs charging. I am open for ideas for mounting the charging station. The bracket is in the box with the Dirt Devil hose and attachments. It sure beats the heavy hose of the Dirt Devil.

That's where they put it in my '09 CC too. I found it too cumbersome to use so I got a Dyson V-6.

I mounted the charger unit under the desk in my CC, a little hard to reach but I haven't kicked it yet.
