This is my 2nd coach to have the inner drive wheel have slow leak. On the 2016 I paid a mobile tire repair to fix it, they removed the tires only to find it was the stem. So this time with the same problem I decided to try changing the stem 1st. Very happy to say NOW all tires holding pressure. The real story is the stems I found. The hex part is 1 inch long but 1/2 inch is hollow to slide over the short stem which makes it more stable and much easier to screw on.

A supply co. There in Houston called All Tire Supply. They do not sale tires, only things to repair tires. They have a web site. That's were I looked the stems up. I got the 5-7/8 long should have gotten 5-1/8. The 2 stems $6.00 EACH.

Tommy, did you find a trick for ordering online? I just tried to order a pair, on sale for $5.71 each, but I have to have a minimum order of $25.or it will not let me proceed. https://www.alltiresupply.com/cart Great looking produce, thanks for sharing. I'll print it out and take it to my local truck shops and see if they have any.

Looks like with all the friends you can meet the $25. minimum with no problem.

Getting close, found a box of 10, long skirt 5.5 inch on Amazon for $6.60. plus $13. shipping. Enough for all the friends and will fix my short stem problem.

Thanks Tommy, We are fortunate that there are several truck shops along I-75. I am sure one of them would have them. Sure a nice extension you posted.

All Tire Supply is a parts supplier for tire repair. Do not sale or repair tires. I talked to a truck tire repair places that I have use before. Fortunately they did not have them. Would get them in a couple of day & the stems would be $24 each, didn't sound bad till I paid $12 for both...
