Check the electrical panel in the cabinet at the front drivers side corner of the coach, directly below the drivers seat. The slides all have breakers that automatically reset. Maybe the one for this slide is malfunctioning. As a test you can pull the breaker for the slide that will not move and temporarily replace it with a breaker from one of the other slides and vice versa, put the breaker for the non operating slide in a slot for a slide that is working and make sure that slide still operates. Careful to use similarly rated breakers, as the super slide breaker is higher rated.

All the wiring and control connections for the slides on the 2017 model year are in the second from the rear bay on the passenger side. You have to remove a carpeted panel to access the wiring. The panel is attached with velcro so you just pull it off. You can jump them straight to the positive and negative terminals right above to eliminate a possible control issue vs a motor/brake issue. We had a motor/brake go bad. If it happens again, the first thing we will do is hit the end of the motor with a hammer and see if it knocks it loose and frees up the brake. The motor itself was fine, it was a malfunction in the brake. Corrosion from water intrusion.

Magic carpet,
Thinks for that update on the slide controls on the 17s. The control looks similar just moved them.
See your in Washington Pa we're 100 mile west of you in Ohio.

Update:
I tried jumping the slide terminals with no luck so I started the task of trying to remove the pins, so I grabbed a hammer and hit it as best I could while the switch was being pressed and on the fifth hit the motor started running. I would like to thank everyone who commented or emailed me their ideas.

Thank you

Pat, glad you got it working. Are you still going to change the motor out?

Richard,
Yes my dealer is going to change out the motor, fix the roof leak, fix the recliner on the couch, put the stainless trim back on where the clearance lights are on top, and fix the fridge that moves around and squeaks going down the road which drives me crazy, all this in the 1st 5 weeks I've had the coach.

That shines a new light on the old saying "if you can't fix it with a hammer it must be an electrical problem!" Glad you got it moving again.

Our Anthem 44B has the problem. No operation of vanity slide. Getting it fixed in Middlebury in October.

Just when you thought it was OK to stick your head out....

We evacuated Hilton Head for the Hurricane and came home to Wilmington to decide what to do. Figured we would stay here as it looked not too bad - decided to button up the rig and - the vanity slide won't close. I just got the letter when I got home for Pete's sake!

Anyway I called the Mother Ship and they advised to , "just pop those pins out and push the slide back in - we'll send you the replacement equipment."

Yes, it's in the wheel well, yes it's very difficult to access, and yes I had to use a mirror and almost every tool in the box to get those stupid pins out and it took two hours.

I called the Mother Ship again to be certain the parts would go out that day, and I was reminded to put the pins back in to keep the slide from, er, well, sliding - out - in a turn on the road. Easy Peasy, right?

Right now the winds are gusting to 65 and the rain is flooding some streets - tomorrow I'll go out and replace the pins somehow, but you know what? Sure beats sitting in that office all day - so there's that
