How long has this been out?
Has anyone updated to it and were there any problems?

Bob, they have been updating almost every other day since we saw you at NIRVC a few weeks ago. We had 1.39 on delivery, and are waiting for Firefly to stabilize the updates before I move forward. I may call them next week and get the inside story.

Bob,
I put in 1.1.45 earlier this week and it seems to be running fine.
I did however have an issue with v.44. That version required a reboot of the 12 volt system to complete the install plus some minor VegaTouch gymnastics to upgrade the G8. Not a big deal or so I thought.

Maybe I didn't reboot correctly or maybe it was a bad version. Who knows. What I do know is that my VegaTouch would not reboot. So when that issue arose on a Sunday night I decided to email Firefly about my reboot issue. Bright and early the next morning Firefly was on the phone and ready to remote into my laptop to access the VegaTouch. They quickly logged in and fixed whatever the issue was and i was back online within 20 minutes of their call.

Firefly was very professional and seemed genuinely concerned as to why my VegaTouch had crashed.

Once I was back up and running the following day I noticed that Firefly had pushed out an new update, v.45. I decided to install it. It went in and rebooted with issue. From what I can see it works seamlessly. Maybe Firefly discovered an issue with v.44 upon their review of my crash. I don't know... but I do know that I don't live in fear of crash knowing that Firefly is all over it should I have a problem.

Just my 2 cents...

I did the V45 update with no issues.
Just be sure NOT to do the update on Weekends.
If you have a problem, no one at Firefly to help until Monday

Thanks guys. Yes, I've noticed how things seem to go bad just after 5pm on Friday so that one has to suffer all weekend without support and then it takes 5 minutes for the tech to fix after you finally get through to them on Monday.

If I’m not mistaken I think that the 2019 models were the first ones to have the ability to receive updates over the Internet.

Yes, we just connect VT to the internet via wifi, go to Settings then Software, and then press the Update button on the screen and follow any instructions that come up.
