Vegatouch update
New update on Vegatouch...anyone update yet? I learned the HARD WAY NOT to update on a Friday!

My advice to anyone regarding vega touch updates is if you don't have an issue that needs to be fixed, DON'T DO IT ... You'll most likely end up being sorry.

That’s the one we’ve been waiting on. Firefly has been proofing this for a couple months due to problems with previous updates. I have uploaded it and everything is working as advertised. This should fix the glitch with the 2020 Aquahot and the tank readouts etc.

Vegatouch update
Did the Vegatouch update yesterday no problems. It did correct a couple of problems (tank readings, AGS, tank warnings) we had been experiencing.
When you’ve done the update you will get an error message about the G8 file needing updating. Click on the error message and follow the instructions for updating the G8 file.
Quick 12v reset and Voila, all done!

Another caution on that. I did that when I got the 19, it wasn't broke so I didn't fix it. A new up date came out that was needed, loaded it and my Vega Touch totally locked up. Called Firefly and they had to take over my system to get it rebooted and loaded. They said I went to long between updates causing the vega touch to lock up. Didn't make sense to be but they said it could not take that many update at one time. I guess it is one of those damned if you do and damned if you don't.

That's good news.... I am really struggling with the tank readings, but after the last fiasco, I'm really hesitant to start the update. I was one of, I think, 5 other coaches that had their Aqua-Hot systems completely disabled after the last update. Took some heroic measures from Firefly to get them working again.
Can you elaborate a little more on the G8 file issue ?? Exactly, what did you have to do to update that file ?

Vegatouch update
Update G8 File:
Go to Settings click on user tab on top of screen.
Click on System.
Click on Uploader in far left menu.
You will see G8 and it will say under “Config Status” invalid.
Click on that line and you will be presented with 4 files. Click on the one that is highlighted in white. I clicked on far left file. If you click on the wrong file it will say upload failed. Ask me how I know...lol. Just close and pick another file if you pick the wrong one.

Well, I did the update to 1.3.5 today. Had FireFly on the phone, as I did the update.
No issues that I can see, except that it DID NOT fix my tank reading issues. I spent about another 30 minutes on the phone with FireFly trying to figure it out, with no resolution. Was told I need to call Entegra and have them look into the issue.

Firefly update gone south
All,
After reading of a successful 1.33 to 1.35 update I foolishly decided to update the VegaTouch in my 2019 Cornerstone. Not good. Screen is blank now. Yes, I did power cycle after an extended period of time but the screen other than flashing the Firefly logo when booting up never came back on.
However, very surprisingly I'm still able to successfully remote access the VegaTouch via the Nebula app on my iPhone. Now I'm waiting for Firefly to respond to my email to them requesting remote support.
Shoulda listened to Chuck......

Jim, once when I had issue on my 18 vegatouch, cs has me shut off 12 volts and ALL breakers in the basement /passenger side ... and the 50amp breaker on the post... that worked.

I would just call FireFly directly and ask for Jerry....Their number is 574-825-4600

Follow up: VegaTouch screen would not reboot. Had to contact Firefly. Melvin from their tech support team did an awesome job getting it back online.
We do however run into an issue with the G8 update. Further fiddling got it resolved. However, I don’t recommend anyone with 2019 model to update to version 1.35 as Firefly discovered it causes the toll shade to drop down halfway and then repeatedly cycles a relay for the water pump. It only happens when the pump is on so if you’re hooked to water you’re ok.
Better news is that version 1.36 which addresses this anomaly is set to be released very shortly.
