Vicious conspiricy for sure

First Flexsteel decides to exit the RV market and puts huge kink in supply chain.

Then CV-19 slowed down or stopped critical supply chains needed to build our new coach.

Then too many other people purchased coaches and the wanted them delivered.

Then the factory had issues moving through it's backlog, sometimes passing incorrect information

Then, just when you think there is a light at the end of the tunnel; Mother Nature whips up a snow storm to add in a degree of difficulty in your delivery

Not venting or anything, but dang it seems harder than it should be.

just sayin.

Our delivery was held up when the factory shut down production, but at that time there were not all the other issues you mentioned. Taking a deep breath and a sense of humor is about all you can do. Looks like you have the sense of humor covered.

I have been through it not once, but twice. The 14 was built and tried to deliver in the winter of 30 below zero. The coach was a disaster built in that cold of weather. Paint does not flow well when being painted in those temperatures. It sat for 3 weeks at 30 below not plugged in, guess how those batteries were.

The 21 sat for 3 months while Covid shut the state of Indiana down. I sit here now and laugh at them both.

BTW, I didn't win the Covid vaccine lottery this morning either. So now I have the new coach and no place to go.

I hear you on the vaccine. Trying to get an appointment, but Virginia is worst state in union in delivery. I work international rotations, so I get tested to go to work and now I get tested to return home. Guessing soon we will need proof of vaccine to travel.

All good, first world problems.

Sun should come up tomorrow and we'll give it another go.

My new coach is ready for paint but is has to wait for out of stock slide toppers. Supposed to take delivery on 2/22 but it is starting to look unlikely. Was originally supposed to be done in October. Just about every part was unavailable. Started with Flexsteel, ac's, and now slide toppers.

Sorry youve experienced such a delay. If your RV is delivered in the next few months be sure to thoroughly flush the exterior and undercarriage of salt. Nothing ages an RV quicker than salt corrosion.

If it were me Id hope for an April or early May delivery so your brand new RV isnt driven through the winter mess.

What they didn't tell you was that 2/22 REALLY meant February of 2022! So hang in there, you may yet get it EARLY!

Waiting for a new coach is always the hardest part. Then when you get it your more excited than a 13 year old boy watching cheer leading practice.

I really feel sad for you owners that are stuck in the purgatory of supply chain delays on top of supply chain delays. I would be ready to claw someone or some factory silly. Hang in, they say better days are ahead and my fingers are crossed.

Now we learn that letting the coach sit waiting out covid is bad for DEF sensors. I bird I should be happy that I get to exercise my coach every three weeks to live in while I get my Lymphoma treatment in Dallas ..... keeps the DEF fresh. -

Thanks Gary, patience is not a natural act for me. After 20 years in Uncle Sam's canoe club and another 20 in the oil patch, my tendency is to drive problems hard. I tend to wear out sales folks. My filters are broken when it comes to letting BS pass for truth, so I let them know when I think they are using the pandemic to mask poor performance.

Entegra has been pretty good about keeping me in the loop, a few glitches but none of us are perfect.

Timing is lining up for my delivery coinciding with my off shift period, so that is a great thing.

Tough way to eek out coach time for you, my best wishes on your treatments.

Hopefully, we can all catch a frosty beverage in a campground together in the future and laugh about all this.

Cheers,
j

I guess good things come to those that wait. Entegra got her out before storm!

If I ever figure out how to put up photo, I will attach.

Just have to complete this shift, figure out how to get CV19 test to get back in states, and make long trip home.
