Vision XL satellite wiring

I'm wiring our new 34G and I'm trying to determine the wiring from roof to video cabinet. Does anyone have the wiring schematic for the 2021?

Does anyone know why the cat6 wires are for? Why aren't FP there hdmi from Attachment 1that cabinet to the TVs?

How did it go?

Hi Pixguy...I am interested in how this project worked out. Picking up our 2021 XL 34G on Wednesday. Thanks.

It appears Entegra hasn't made up the schematic pdf as of yet so I invested in a coax toner and figured out what everything was. I also determined where the cable coax from the wet bay was.
The problem is that they only have one cable going the the rear tv and just one hdmi cable to the front tv. I bought switches for both so I can send dvd, satellite, campground cable or antenna to the front tv and antenna or cable to the rear

Me next project is installing solar panel to the roof.

Thanks much

I was afraid of that...I didnít remember seeing a HDMI switch mod like what is in my current unit. Looks like Iíll be setting up something similar...canít believe all three TVís are not cable and HDMI ready...love a challenge though.

DW asked me if I could move it from where it is, above the sink in valuable kitchen space so I moved some to the left in the closest upper cabinet above the tv. Made a new rear panel in that above sink cabinet and hid the power cords that be needed to stay there.
That smaller cabinet is tight but it made more sense and the Mrs. is happier.

Nice! Looks great. Does the exterior tv cable run terminate in there also and were you able to add the exterior tv to the switches?

The exterior tv cable is back there (orange cable) but I didn't add it to the switch as I don't have plans on using that tv anytime soon but there's no reason you can't put in a three way coax switch. Right now I just have the exterior TV set for antenna.
If you want cable in the rear you'll have to put in a switch for that as well. We just use our Dish dvd in the br.

Cable

Hey Pixguy,

On the road with my new 34G. Have no campground cable. Did you say you found where it was in the compartment you restructured? I took out the booster plate and see what I think is the antenna cable in and the tv cable out...shouldnít there be the wet bay cable input to the switch also? Donít understand how it would work when you switch the green light on...thanks

I pulled out the compartment "cover" and found the coaxial cable that leads back to the wet bay marked cable. I bought a toner like below and found the wire. I installed a switch so I could go from antenna to cable.

Thanks. Yeah, I pulled the cover and presto, found the wet bay lead not connected (go figure). Plugged it in and now have cable to all three tvís. Unfortunately the only HDMI they have run is from the Blu-ray to the main tv. I can stream from my laptop to the main tv but not to the bedroom. On another note, my CarPlay quit working halfway to PA. Downloaded an update from Sonyís site. Mine was 1.24, updated it to 1.25...fixed it! Some things work as advertised...

I installed a Dish and wanted that to go to the front tv at least so finding those wires was fun too and then another switch to go from BluRay to Satellite.

I added another 7" monitor like Gunter on the top of the doghouse so I can see the rear camera, which by the way is static 75% of the time.

I should update the Sony as well.

Overall we love it.

Got back from PA yesterday, visiting my son. Glad I bought a heated water hose in Virginia. 14 degrees at night. Merry Christmas!
