It is a setting you can make on your Command 30 module. Mine is set to 11.5 based upon a discussion with Ted Cook. Others come with the setting at a default of 12.5 (which IMHO is too high).
Scroll through the options with the upper right hand button to "Set Up & Info". Hit "Enter" The scroll to the auto set up. There are a number of choices including a standard time, date, etc. One of those settings is a voltage which you can adjust up and down after hitting "enter" when you scroll to it. When you get to the voltage you want, hit "enter" and then work your way back out. I'd recommend somewhere between 11.5 and 12.0V

They recommend that your house battery bank should not be discharged more than 50% SOC.
Using the following document as reference , that would be 12.06 VDC
The 12volt Side of Life (Part 1)
If you discharge the House Battery bank further than that on a regular basis, you will be replacing the batteries more often than necessary.
Program you AGS to automatically come on when the SOC gets to that level.

I agree with Dr4Film on not discharging more that 50% SOC, but I think that the generator will get the command to start while there is a load on the batteries (such as the fridge running) which at a 11.5 volts setting is probably very close to a 12 volt battery bank at rest ( no charge or discharge). 50% state of charge has to be measured at rest not with a load on it.
This is why I think Entegra recommended the 11.5 volt setting. If it is possible I would set 11.7 volts.

Don,
That's contradictroy to what is stated in the article.
"A battery "cycle" is one complete discharge and recharge cycle. It is usually considered to be discharging from 100% to some point not lower than 20%, and then charging back up to 100%. Battery life is directly related to how deep the battery is cycled each time. If a battery is discharged to only 50% each cycle, it will last about twice as long as if it is cycled to 20%. Running the battery down totally flat will have a very negative effect on the lifespan of the battery. See the table below for voltages as related to depth of discharge. This chart is designed to be used when monitoring a battery under load. This chart is a little more useful to the average RVer, as we are most interested in monitoring the state of charge of our battery bank while it is actually in use. See the Testing your batteries section below for information on determining open circuit state of charge using either a volt meter or a specific gravity tester."
I would verify with Entegra of their facts and then have it in writing so if people start having battery life problems having to change them out too frequently, you will have it documented.

Richard:
I have not seen before this, a table for battery voltage that is for use under load. It does not make sense. The greater the load the lower the voltage would be and the smaller the load the higher the voltage would be.
Trojan whom is a well respected battery manufacturer has a chart listed on their website that lists an open circuit SOC for a 12 volt battery of 50 % as 12.1 volts, at rest not under load.
I think I would be more willing to believe what Trojan has to say when it comes to care and feeding of batteries.

I wish I was that wise...I'm just going with what Entegra's senior engineer says his battery "experts" recommend. Since they'll be replacing if that' wrong and the batteries go bad during the first two years, that what my advice was based upon. just saying'...
