I would seek legal advise.

I store on 120v. However make sure your 120v outlet is preferably not a ground fault outlet. MH and ground fault outlets do not play well together. If you have an Entegra a few things have to be turned off not to trip breakers on 120.

The legal advise will cost more than the batteries and they know that.

In addition, Entegra no longer has the batteries on the 2 year warranty. It is now battery manufactures warranty of 1 year. Entegra has come to the point they have no control how dealers or owner maintain the batteries. As much as the internet attorneys would would scream "Lemon Law". Hardly, it is fully disclosed in my owners manual.

Next question is what rate are the chassis supposed to be charging? I see the reading on my chassis batteries up as far as 12.8 then down to 12.3 then back up to 12.8 since I replaced them. Is the charge supposed to be that small? The house batteries sits around 13.3.

How long is the swing between the high and low voltage of the chassis battery ?

Many chassis battery charging systems are now designed to only top off the chassis battery If the voltage drops off to a set amount. Then they charge for an hour or so and stop again.

There is no reason to maintain 13.4 volts on a battery not being used.

My 21 the chassis batteries average 12.9v charge rate. The house 13.2.

Assuming the chassis batteries are still flooded batteries. 12.8V is about as high as you'll see when the batteries are at rest. If you happen to catch them during a charge cycle they will probably go up to 13.5V or so. However shortly after charging stops the batteries will drop back down to 12.6-12.8V max.

If you are going by what is shown on the Vegatouch screen that value could be in error. Measure the voltage at the chassis batteries and compare that to Vegatouch. At any rate your chassis batteries will only receive a 1 hour charge from the house side when the voltage of the chassis batteries drop to 12.6v or less.

Don

Does that keep repeating (cycling) until the voltage is up to where it should be or is it a one shot and done deal?

Gary

Gary,

Each time the chassis batteries drop down the 1 hour charge will kick in. It will keep repeating as long as generator or shore power are available.
