Jeff, it was directed at me(I was going to dismiss it)but it is never productive when people are trying to learn. I have thick skin, but there are folks who are newer than I, or only reading trying to assess a future purchase, and get turned off by those types of comments.

My screen is impossible to see during driving and feel it’s not safe to mess with. Hence, replacing may be a better choice for me.
I will keep trying Ernie’s direction to see if I can get it to work.
For anyone, when you jump platforms(iPhone, iPad, etc.) it is easy to miss a reply….just a thought……

Like you I am watching this post and learning. I have never had a problem with the volume on the 14, or the 19, but the 21 will knock you back to the dinette. I admit, I do not know the new MH's like I do the Classics, but I watch post like this for those that have come before me and are kind enough to explain it, sometimes twice for a better understanding....thank you!

Tom no problem and I agree with your statement.

Currently the coach is sitting in the garage that I can raise the door and it can receive enough satellites to map the trip. So, I was trying to resolve the issue before we head out in a few days. In this case it's not a big deal as on this trip I don't even need the GPS, I just like having it on just incase we would have to go around a major traffic tie up for some reason. I figured this was much safer than playing with it the road.

Ernie, I found the pages you referred to. Thanks!
We’ll see how I did today.
At least I can direct DW where to find settings while driving.

I tried the directions and got it to go away or softer, but never got it to louder. Sorry I did respond earlier, had and AC blower fan break in the front AC and had to tear it apart. Got the fan on order hopes it shows up fairly soon.

Not sure if this is what OP wants, but I have a later model radio because Riverside replaced the OEM one. This is how the volume works.

When music is playing, the volume knob controls radio volume.
During a GPS announcement, the volume knob controls the volume of the GPS only.

So the volume knob only affects the radio when it is plying, and only the GPS announcement. They are independent.

It can get a little difficult to turn the GPS right when there is an announcement but that is what works on my unit.

There two pages for audio as Ernie describes. Page two is the nav volume. Never heard a peep from the nav while driving yesterday.

I've been to that screen and changed volume to 10 and still you can barely hear it. I've even tried changing it when the GPS was talking, stays the same. I'm going to try change it again when it is giving instructions and see what happens.

Just a guess but there is a mute button on the nav screen. Found that accidentally messing with it.
