Water leak under slide out.

i have a new (purchased August of 1920), Entegra Vision MH. So far very happy with it and the dealer, but still have one problem. The slide out Kitchen, Dinette, will have a puddle running out into main floor if I either leave on the pump while driving or hook up to city water in a campground. It is not much water and easily wiped up, but I am afraid that over time I will have a bigger problem.

My dealer is a couple hours away and I have taken it back a couple of times to have other small problems fixed, one of which was the puddle coming out from under the slide. They said they had tightened all the connections but I still have the puddle. I really don't want to drive up to the dealer again and hope this time they fix the problem, and I really don't have time right now to do it.

I have looked for where it is coming from with no luck and now I wonder if I can't manage to get it corrected before my warrantee expires, are they still required to fix this. Note that I have reported to them that the leak is still there.

Have you looked under the sink with a flashlight for a slight drip? The dealer may have missed one connection.

I’m really surprised that a 102 year old Mh doesn’t have more problems than that!😳😳

You didn't give us enough description of your coach (you should consider adding it to your signature "box") to know if your floor plan is the same as or similar to ours, or not. But from your description, it may not be too different from our 2021 Esteem.

I am considering adding a hot water dispenser on/under the counter, so I've done some exploring. On our coach, I can pretty easily remove the drawers under the kitchen counter. That gives "some" access to the plumbing in and under the slide. On ours, there is a wood support panel in there, maybe a couple of feet square, that the back of the drawer glides are mounted to, and that hides the view of a lot of the plumbing. But if you take your cell phone camera, or a mirror and flashlight, or use a remote viewing device like a Ferret camera (check out the link below, it's AWESOME!!!) you should be able to see almost every fitting in both the cold and the hot water lines under your slide. What you may not be able to see is where the two lines go thru the floor into the area under the coach, in other words from the sliding portion (the slide) to the fixed part of the coach. That could involve a wear point that may be leaking, but let's hope not!

I'll wager that you will be able to find your leak. The hard part is that fixing it might require three arms with two or more elbows on each, not to mention a 10" diameter torso to get into the area under the cabinet.

Good luck!

Water leak under slide out.

OOOPS! Fat fingers, of course I meant 2020!. Even I'm not that old!

I have taken out the drawers and gotten as far under there as possible but can't find anything. I may have to take off the support panel mentioned but it doesn't seem to be coming from there, of course with water you never know, it could be anywhere in that area. The leak is very small and takes hours for it to appear as a puddle making it's way toward to the front. After several hours on the road with the pump on, I can see where water has made it's way to the rear bottom corner of the slide out and left a trail.

Part of my question was, will the factory warrantee still hold if I can't manage to get it back to the dealer before August? I have reported via email that the leak is still there.

And I will see if I can figure out how to add to my signature box.

Call the factory, they might arrange for a mobile service if it is to damaging before getting back to the dealer. Another easy way to locate the leak is to put a winterizing air fitting on and pressurize the tank to make the leak more visible.

My MH is a Entegra Vision 29 with 2 slides, both on drivers side. I will give a short list of the initial problems.

First, and the most serious, was the AC's would run and then stop and next time they would run again. factory sent a tech down to S Florida to fix them. After Changing out a main control box under the bed, which didn't help, he found the the factory had used too small of wire nuts in the power distribution area. Burnt wires and wire nuts! He changed them out and now problem is fixed. As the wiring could have caused a fire, it could be something other owners want to take a look at.

Second was the bathroom faucet had an internal leak and they had to order new and replace it.

Third and it hope the last for awhile, the under slide leak mentioned above.

Does the refrigerator move on the slide? If yes, might check to see if there is a condensation drip tray on the bottom (under the refrigerator), and is the drip hose hitting that tray. Can't tell if that is a combo refrigerator that operated off electricity and propane, but my sisters propane unit froze up inside some, and if it is defrosting, maybe the drip is from that process?

Just Purchased a 2022 Vision XL and driving home from Florida through a rain storm had water running across the floor from both slides. Found it dripping in from under the slide. Only when driving in rain.
