Same issue for us. Changed the fill valve, and that didn't fix it. Do you find that your pump runs (unprimed) with city water hooked up?

Just completed the black tank rinse modification with the check valve and a pressure regulator.
I know I have seen this discussion somewhere before but have been unable to find it on the forum. The owners manual only says to use a regulator.

45 is about right - you can go higher for a nice shower but I would not recommend it

I have mine set for 55. I could go higher I suppose, but why take a chance. Besides my S&B is 60 # and it is fine.

Seems like 45 to 55 is about the norm. Some, like ours are higher, a 2009 Monaco Dynasty that I downloaded the owners manual for was 45 as was the 2008 Dynasty I looked at.

I can't say that I have noticed that the pump was left on, but that is something I'm watching. Lately I seem to have an issue with at least one plumbing item every time we hookup - forget to open the water tap, forget to open our valve to the hose, forget to leave the gray open, etc. etc
