Weak water pump pressure

16’ cornerstone. Seems like we are getting decrease water pressure when we use our water pump. Is there anything I can check before replacing? Also any suggestions on replacement. Thanks!

You can check the bowl filter located on the input side of the pump. Make sure the pump is off, disconnect or shut off camp ground water supply, and briefly open hot and cold low point drains to relieve the pressure in the lines. Have a small bowl or red solo cup to catch the small amount of water that will come out. Bowl filter will simply unscrew and has a course screen for a filter. I have had debris in this before that caused a similar issue.

Safe travels.

Agree^^.

However, before you inspect the pump, you may wish to simply remove the aerator from the sink faucet and see if the pressure improves. If it does, whatever is clogging the aerator is probably in all the faucets as well. If no change is found, do the pump screen clean and see if that makes a change.

It was the pump filter on mine as well when I started loosing pressure. Be careful unscrewing it. Mine cracked, fortunately there was a small RV dealer down the street from the RV park that had a replacement. Also check the main coach water filter, that is the common low pressure cause.

Nice to meet you today Rick. Hope that pump screen filter is all that needs to be cleaned to help the pressure. There are several threads on here about replacements if it comes to that, and I believe that Larry posted a change he did on his Cornerstone with great detail and images.
