Weather station
We carry this weather station with us.
I velcro the outside sender to the wall in the propane compartment.
Since I don't have a propane compartment anymore, where is a good place to put it?

We put ours outside under the slide room on passenger side. Stays dry and out of the sun.

Easy...i hang it from the hitch near the kingpin. Hangs free for good air flow...in the shade and out of the weather.

Mine is in the generator compartment up front, on top of the air horns.

That is a good question. I have ours taped to the gas line under the FW, but sometimes the ground temp will affect the readings. I have tried putting the sensor near the hitch assembly, but the black hitch acts like a giant solar collector and can affect the temp readings up to 2' away. The propane bay didn't work either due to the heat sink from the full bottles. Will try under the slide outs.
How about the TV roof antenna under the bat wing or some shaded spot?

Putting your outside monitor somewhere inside the vehicle WILL NOT give you ACCURATE OUTSIDE READINGS.

X2 the dash sensor is accurate for outside temperature. The wet bay gives me temperatures if basement heat is needed.
Do the new models still have the dash sensor that displays on the front screen?

Thanks for the suggestions.
Wet bay is out, it's heated and not vented.
Anyplace hanging outside is out.
Up front could work. How much would the gennyaffect the reading?
Course we rarely run the genny when driving, and pretty much know it is "damned hot" when we do!

I used sticky velcro and put the one velcro strip on the outside metal rail under the slide (the slide comes back to meet this rail, but there is room to velcro the sensor to that rail without crushing it. Then the other side of velcro goes on sensor. This give reasonably accurate outside temperatures and is in the shade. Works great.

Gary, same place I mounted the LED lights, no problem with slide interference. Good protected area.

My 2018 Aspire displays temperature. I don’t know where the sensor is located but the temp it shows is significantly higher than the real temp.
