That is what I want my battery compartment to look like. My coach is a year and a half old and I am ready to make the switch before it becomes too much of a n=mess to clean up

That's why I wish I would have done it sooner. The corrosion you see in the pic is AFTER I cleaned it up. With the wet cell stock batteries I even had the after market yellow battery caps that help control the escape of fluid and it still ate the tray up bad.

It doesn't help much about the batteries but on my previous 13 Aspire those darn straps rotted off twice despite my corrosion efforts. I ended up securing the batteries with two of those 4 ft long giant zip ties used for AC ducts. They are cheap and do not corrode.

I had the same corrosion problem with a Travel Supreme. When it came time to replace the batteries I cleaned all the metal well then sprayed bedliner material on all the parts. It held up really good. You can get the material at an auto parts store in a spray can.
