You do need to be careful tho to make sure it is compatible with the installed receiver frequency and version which has varied over the years. Perhaps you mean one of the older versions are no longer available?
Thanks for the link. Wow that is excessive for a very simple remote, almost like they don't want you to buy one. I am almost certain this is the same as mine as models from 2007 & on operate on 433MHz.

I did get the battery replaced in the remote and the transmit LED seems brighter. I'll be able to test it this weekend when I pull the bus out of storage.

Also, if the auto retract (wind sensor) doesn't work, let me know I may be able to help. I had to repair mine after Lazydays messed it up.
It looks like Carefree used this remote on different styles of awnings. The Eclipse looks like the awning mounted on my coach. Thanks for the link to to the Carefree library. There was not any specific information in the 2015 Entegra O&M about the awning or controls.

I'll see if I can test the wind/self retract feature and if I have an issue I'll reach out to you VoltDoc.

Thanks for the knowledge y'all!

I was going by this parts diagram, which indicated that remote was superseded.

Ditto for my 120V Girard awnings. They work on inverter too.

Update! Yes this remote is for controlling the patio awning! I did not have to pair the remote to the controller again, although I may just because I can . The remote is not very powerful at all and I did have to be near the storage compartment door where the receiver is located, but it works great! I think I will attach the hook portion of a small piece of velcro to the the remote and locate it in the outdoor TV storage bay. I am so happy to have this feature so that I can extend the patio awning while I am outside and watching for hazards, etc.

I did not test the wind/motion sensor yet. I ran into another problem that I will share in a new thread.

Thanks again to everyone who responded and shared your knowledge!

If your awning controller setup in the bay looks like the one in the image a few posts back, you could always relocate the receiver closer to the outside corner of the coach. The small box in the upper left corner of that image has the antenna on it and having it buried in the basement of the rig is why the range is soo short.

Yes it does look like the image above including the small box with the antenna. Good point, if it becomes an issue I could move the receiver to a better location.
