What might be new in 2022
My wife retired last year and we had planned on purchasing a 2021 Anthem 44W, unless we were able to examine a Cornerstone 45X and found that to be a better choice for us. The pandemic delayed our acquisition of the RV so I have been looking to see what might be new out there and we see many listings for 2022 Entegras shown as on order. In looking at the details I saw the new labels on the interior and exterior choices. The 2022 Anthem exterior colors were Rally Red, Colbalt Blue, Gold Harvest, Aqua Blue and Steel Grey with interior choices of Desert, Metro, Bavarian. The 2022 Cornerstone exterior colors were Red Horizon, Coral Reef, Agate Gray, Carmen Red and Patriot Blue with interior choices of Beach, Linen, Sterling. I am hopeful that Entegra releases the model year changes the first of February again so that we can see what these new color choices look like. Perhaps they will have a few less swirls in the paint schemes going forward.
We also viewed Angie’s video on the new Winnebago Journey and found many things we liked about their new design.
It looks like we will have to wait a bit longer for the vaccine to do its job and allow for folks to feel more at ease traveling. We wanted to explore any new offerings at the Perry Georgia show in March but we are not sure that is going to be an option. Perhaps we will be waiting for a second dose of a vaccine at that time and unable to travel.

There will be no "reveal" of new coaches before March.... always afraid of torpedoing (?) sales of current models.

One positive about the 22 is they are going back the the much better Macerator toilets.

Hi, could you please elaborate? I have the Thetford TECMA Model #98262. Already had to have the macerator pump and grinder replaced. Nasty job.
I had a dometic macerator toilet in my 2011 Tiffin Allegro Bus. A wash cloth accidentally got flushed in the Dometic. The Dometic toilet has stainless steel blades. It completely ground up the washcloth with no negative results. Spoke to Dometic customer service and they told me the washcloth would not hurt the macerator and it didn't. The toilet worked flawlessly until the day I traded it for the Entegra.
The Thetford accidentally got one paper towel flushed down. It jammed the macerator to the point it had to be replaced. The macerator has plastic blades. Is Entegra going to a Dometic macerator toilet?

On the 21s, after Entegra was purchase by Thor Industries in around 2019, Entegra moved from the Thetford line of toilets (drop toilets such as the Aria) and Thetford macerator toilets which have now been standard installs on Entegra coaches since at least 2014 and I think much longer. Both toilets on my 15 Anthem were Thetford and same is true on this 19 Cornerstone. The story I heard is that due to volume buying with Thor, Thor was able too supply the new brand of toilets (someone will make those models clear, but I don't have them) and those began to be installed in the 21s.
However, many owners were not at all happy with the new brand of toilet for two common reasons. 1.) When the coach arrived, the toilets often would not flush completely. Often owners needed to flush 3 or 4 times to get the remaining water in the toilet clear. People were not happy. Now it is more commonly known that the amount of inflow of water can be programmed so that more water comes in with each flush so the brown remaining water is not as much of a problem. However, heavy water use is not a positive characteristic on a coach that does any boondocking as the water use is to excessive. 2.) I have never used one of the new toilets but some new owners did not like how the new toilets felt when they were being used. People just have not accepted the new toilets well.
It is my understanding that they stopped installing the new toilets mid-year on the 21s and they are no longer installing them. Now, again I don't have them so this is my understanding of the situation and Entegra has gone back to the Thetford Techma toilets. There was nothing wrong with them. All toilets will have problems and no one likes working on them, but the Thetfords, to me, are the industry standards.

Entegra is going back to the Thetford Mancerator toilet. On the 21's they tired a "Green New Deal" SaniMarin mancerator that just does not work well in a MH application, not enough water.

2022 Changes
I was informed my 2021 Anthem is scheduled for completion 2/24 but with longer wait times on furniture it will be late March. It will come with an upgraded window over the sink which is for the 2022 models. Seems they made some updates to them slated for 2022 models. As for toilets, I requested the Pre 2021 models which they will do and if they become standard maybe I can get a refund of the premium I paid.

There is always a price increase every year. Guaranteed the toilets will be in that increase.

As many of you know, Entegra’s usual routine is to stop building Model-Year-NNNN coaches around the end of each calendar year, start building Model-Year NNNN+1 coaches in January of the next calendar year, and release to the public a “What’s New for NNNN+1” set of documents on or about February 1st.
So based on past practice, they would have built the last of the 2021’s in December 2020, started building 2022’s this month (January 2021), and would be releasing the “What’s New for 2022” documents in a week or so (today being 1/24/2021).
But 2021 was, to say the least, not a normal year. I’ve heard varying reports regarding how many 2021’s are waiting to be finished up, but in no case has it been a trivial number. As such, it is anybody’s guess if they will release the “What’s New for 2022” documents on or about 2/1/2021 or delay until all of the 2021’s are finished up and shipped to the various dealerships.

Larry, I was thinking the same thing you posted. I remember when Entegra did the early information release on the 15 before the 14's were delivered. The "in manufacturing" orders were canceled like crazy. I can't see that happening with all of the unfinished coaches waiting to be delivered.

? Going on 7 years with 2 Thetford macerator toilets "in the same coach" and both have been flawless and much nicer then the old pedal toilets. But we have never abused them either.

I was told the 2022 models have been delayed 2-3 months and will not be shown in Perry this year.

That makes sense. My 21 was delayed 3 months because of the shutdown. Those behind me the same delays from appliance and furniture manufacture shutdowns. That would make 22's 3 months late unless everybody get caught up sooner.
