What’s under the J couch?

Anyone who changed their J sofa for theater seats happen to have a picture that shows what it looks like under the sofa once it is removed? I’m sort of thinking theater seats or else using two recliners and a console between them. Thanks!

They are installing our theater seating on the 30th, under my j couch is carpet. I have a 2016 Anthem. Can’t wait to get rid of that couch!

Our 2016 CS “A” has a hide a bed couch and has carpet on the slide floor. There are 4 bolts that anchor the couch and the seat belts.

Can the j or L shaped couch go out the door? It probably comes apart I think. Want to change mine out to for regular couch with recliners .

Took mine apart into 4 sections. All came out easily except for the " J " part. Spent a long time trying to find a way to get it thru the door. Called entegra and they couldn't tell me. Finally had to resort to cutting the supports off of the bottom and welded them back on when I got it out.

we removed ours from our 2013 Ace...opened it up and it angled out the door. We then put a queen size sofa with three back pillows and a so very comfortable base from a Presario the 88" sofa was too long but we sacrificed the arm by the passenger seat and it extends 3 inches over the stairwell but it is so comfortable!!!

What’s under the J couch?

Lambright folks took the Villa L couch out of our 15 DEQ last week in several pieces with no issues. They’ve done a lot of them and knew how to turn the corner piece using two guys and it went right out. On the floor of the slide was all carpet with about four bolts thru the slide bottom with backing plates underneath the slide. They removed all but one and plugged the holes with sealant. The one that remains was not accesible to retrieve parts with the slide out, so was left in place. Other than that one bolt all that remained were the seat belts. A shop probably won’t remove those for liability reasons, but they hide easily and could probably be used if needed. Sorry, but no photos - we were too excited watching it happen. [emoji51]

This should give you a rough idea - from a 44B. It's all finished surfaces. As mentioned there are some bolt holes in the floor but they will likely be covered by whatever you re-install.

Thanks all. Exactly what I wanted to know.

Newmar has an option for two recliners with a small table which we would have liked but I can see why theater seats would be the preferred conversion for an Entegra. The carpeted area does not stick out far enough to support two recliners that are not anchored down.

I remembered this post about recliners in a "B" model and found it. It might give you some ideas...a few photos in the thread. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/recliners-202209.html
