What to buy? Ikon Renegade or Cornerstone?
Wife wants Cornerstone B floor plan, I desire handling, reliability of Cascadia Freightliner chasis? If decide on Ikon, will consider Showhauler next..
Want the abiltiy to pull a stacker later maybe.
Please offer your advice to a newbie!

The super C will have more towing capacity 50 k lb, frontal crash protection would also be better. However the cornerstone handling is superb, it can tow 20k lb it provides more living space more under coach storage space. As for the chassis the spartan k3 chassis is top shelf.last point for the class A is the panaramic view while driving.

Different animals. Drive both and spend some time in both - then you will know which one you prefer. Both exceptional machines.

Chocolate vs: Vanilla. That I why they make both. We liked the extra room in the Cornerstone. Handling of the K3, as mentioned before, is fabulous. Good advise to try both. Good luck in your search.

I think you are asking in the wrong place, as those of us here have made our choice and I haven't heard from anybody that regrets it. So you are going to get answers skewed in favor of the Cornerstone. Only you can decide if the Super C provides something that negates for you all the known advantages of a Cornerstone.

As stated peas vs carrots. If you really need the towing capacity and want the ease of doing your own Chassis/Driveline services then the choice is simple.
HOWEVER if you want a HAPPY LIFE and WIFE the choice is even simpler !

We priced an Ikon and found the pricing to be substantially higher than a comparable Cornerstone. The MSRP was close on the two units but the dealer we talked to did not seem to be willing to move off MSRP. We only talked to the one dealer, but I couldn't see any huge advantage for us to go with the Super C, particularly with the extreme premium the dealer was looking for.

Probably not a consideration, but thought I would mention. Awhile back, I was checking into an upscale resort in the Palm Springs area, a gentleman was attempting to reserve a space that owned a Super Class C and was turned away because the unit wasn't a Class A. He was very upset as the coach was, as the owner stated, costs more than MOST of the class A's in the resort.. He certainly made his point, but in the end, was turned away because his coach wasn't a Class A..go figure!!

I saw the same thing happen while I was checking in at Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort to another Super C owner. They referred them to Oasis RV Resort just down the street.

I have followed this Entegra Board for probably 3 years....had made up my mind for Cornerstone...noticed small issues and then the radiator issues...got me thinking again about a Super C, wife wants Cornerstone..I worry about reliability, depreciation, safety....
But I also subscribe to find your floor plan and keep your wife happy...Cornerstone covers these two issues....
Overall would everyone agree, the problems are not as bad as they sound on this forum...?
I want Entegra folks thoughts, hard to find much activity on Super C forums...
FYI for all, been told that Super C's with a particular design can now be titled Class A's and can no longer be legally denied entrance in Class A resorts..Ikon owner just bought a lot in the Class A only Naples Motorcoach Resort.

Have had a few issues with my CS. Nothing earth shattering and everything has been quickly addressed by Entegra. Their support is second to none. Absolutely no second thoughts.

A private resort can legally exclude anybody they want to unless it is a prohibited form of discrimination such as racial or religious.

We own a lot in Riverbend Motorcoach Resort in Labelle Fla,and they just changed their regulations to not allow super-c's even if they were titled as class A

Yes - that is true of any brand's forum. Many of us come here when we have problems to solve. Few log in only to report smooth sailing. A super C will have many of the same problems because of the shared systems: HVAC, leveling, slides, plumbing & electrical etc. Probably fewer radiator concerns (I hope), but maybe more of something else, unique to a super C.
