Remote readout cannot be added later to this model. If you want the remote, you must order that model. Your choice....... My fixed mount has the readout on the box. I inquired with the factory and asked about adding the remote. Was told it couldn't be done. No big deal either way. Important thing is having one. Don't leave home without it. I installed mine before the transfer switch.
That 6 gauge wire is a bear to bend and fit in close quarters!
