Our Entegra was at Skybrook campgrounds in NY; last minute reservations and change of plans. We stayed there because we wanted to do the 1000 stair hike at the Stonybrook state park nearby and because its somewhere we have never been before. The hike was amazing with a natural swim pool at the base of one of the many waterfall. We hiked the Gorge trail along the water and the West Rim trail on the upper ridge. Wear good shoes and bring lots of water. We didn’t go swimming because the water is 56 degrees. When I go scuba diving in the Puget Sound (NW), I wear a dry suit in water that cold. The state park was nice, just busy as it was 4th of July weekend.

We stayed at Skybrook campground. We were told we had a 20 amp site but it only had 90 volts; we didn’t plug in. There were hundreds of golf carts and gators 4x4s on the move at all hours of the day and into the late night People drinking (which is ok) but the loud yelling, dogs barking and kids running around unsupervised. No dog owner had a doggy bag or a leash so you had to watch where you stepped. The campground is more of a trailer park with open sites than a campground. This place had major power problems so we used our generator as there was no way I was plugging into their pedestal. We left early the next morning….Pronto!!!!

We found our way to O-Neh-Da, Eagle Crest Vineyards. Wine tasting of all their wines and then some. Toured the grounds as you could see the Finger Lakes from the property. This place had a nice deck outside to relax and sip wine. Very peaceful. Then we went to Southern Meadows Golf Club. We got to break out the clubs and knock the ball around. We had dinner, then walked along the course in the evening after the club had closed and we were the only ones there. Very peaceful, quiet and we really enjoyed ourselves! We stayed the night and left the next morning. Overall, we had a good weekend.

We are home for a few days as we ready ourselves for our 13 state trip.

Our Anthem is at home in Steamboat Springs, CO. Learning that the power in our old house isn't quite up to powering our coach. For now it is just charging the batteries.
We'll be here another week to 10 days till our next adventure. Got an invite on a private trip for Hells Canyon launching the 20th. If this comes together, then western Idaho will be our next stop!!

Hear Hell's Canyon is nice, but watch out for Rattlesnakes. We've rafted the Main and Middle Salmon Rivers and rafting anything in this area is true wilderness. We've seen what I'd consider a lot of water up in Northern ID, so I would expect flows in the rafting rivers should be really good. Have fun.

We are at Silver City RV Resort in Carson City, NV. Weather has been warm but the humidity low. Don't miss the Florida humidity. Nice park with lots of long pull-thru sites.
