Whirlpool Dryer Buzzer
Anyone know how to silence the buzzer at the end of the drying cycle? Basically, we just want to start the dryer and go to bed, but when the cycle ends the stupid buzzer could wake up the dead.
Already dealing with the Vegatouch alarming in the middle of the night, and then the propane detector going off and if it is a really good night the glass break sensors trigger the alarm All good though, really enjoying the last 6 weeks.
Safe travels,
Jim

No responses......I guess I will see if I can find where the buzzer is located and see if I can do a duct tape job on it.

Just string a close line from coach to coach, toss the dryer and benefit from the additional storage space.👏🏼
All kidding aside, I think your approach to locate the speaker and duct tape or cut the wires sounds like the only logical approach. Let us know what you discover..

I can't help with the dryer buzzer, but have been startled awake by the glass break sensor doing its thing. If you haven't found out already there is a sensitivity switch on the back of the sensor - it's probably on max sensitivity so just rotate it the opposite direction and play with a setting that works for you.
Looking forward to hearing about the dryer buzzer fix.

I have a feeling the dryer buzzer is going to be hard to get to. Being on top, I don't know if there is enough room to get to it, but I will sure give it a try in a couple of days and report back.

Find the buzzer itself and disconnect the wire

Don't know about the dryer but you can silence the Vega Touch by pressing the volume/mute icon.

I sure wish they would put a volume/mute on the dryer. That thing as absolutely obnoxious in a small MH. It may be fine in a 2,000 sq ft condo, but not for our type of use.

If you, or any other post followers, are going to Octoberfest 2016 there is going to be a electronic product specialist company (River Park Inc) who is offering limited free service/support. This would be a great opportunity to have fun with the rest of us in Las Vegas, and get some RV electronics items fixed.
Maybe we'll see you there!
Greg
