Whirlpool microwave

Microwave just gave it up....anything special I might want to know before removing it and putting in a replacement?

Please provide more details like year, make, model and what happen to he microwave. Is the failed unit a Whirlpool?

Did you try turning off the circuit breaker to reboot it? Do you have power to the microwave plug?

Microwave heating suddenly went out....all else seems to be working....I did turn breaker off and reset.no change.

Before you install the new one, make sure you have the venting setup correctly. I think it vents out the back vs the top. Just make it match the one that you take out.

There is a ground fault plug above the sink on the Classics, the microwave is on the same circuit as the over the sink plugs. Is the ground fault tripped, have you checked power at the microwave outlet? Is there a troubleshooting section of the owners manual that may give an internal fuse location?

Sounds exactly like what happened to my Samsung micro in the s&b, one month out of warranty. The repair would have cost more than a new one, so got a new one. Just don't buy Samsung is my advise.
