Who did you choose for Insurance?
This will be my first time obtaining Insurance for an RV.
Insuring an Entegra (high dollar value coach) is not something I want to take lightly. I would like to have full replacement value as part of the package, and be able to obtain a lower rate during storage.
If you own an Entegra please let me know who you chose for insurance and why.
Thanks
Curt

I choose Camping World/Good Sams through GMAC
Full 5 year replacement value
Low rates for my state
Let me register the MH in my Montana LLC (big reason for me)
Towing and road side assistance included, but I also added Coach Net because of air ambulance coverage.
Looking forward to others posts as well.

Blue Sky through an independent agent recommended by the finance person from RVOne.

I've checked most rates in the industry, and I can't beat GMAC. Noel

GMAC was so high when I bought our Anthem that I contacted RV America Insurance. They got me a quote from Allied Insurance Co. that was so good I eventually placed all my vehicles and my house with them. Almost $3600/year savings.

Curt,
I went with Progressive Insurance because of they had the features I wanted at the lowest price. They were a little lower than my auto insurance carrier State Farm which offered the same deal. I also have full replacement list cost. I'm not sure of a lower storage rate but you can check with the carrier. I keep my Aspire on an RV pad at my home. (I have room for two or three more at my home)
I also got a good quote from RV America, the insurance was through Progressive.

Auto and RV rates vary considerably from state to state. Right now in Texas Allied is really nailing it with low rates. The other big factor is the deductible you choose. I like going high or even higher. I'll self insure for the first $5000 because I'm not looking to turn in little claims. OTOH I want replacement coverage since we drive vehicles that float like rocks where depreciation is concerned.

So far (from Entegra Owners) I have:
GMAC
Progressive
Blue Sky
Allied
Are there any other insurance companies Entegra owners utilize?
Curt

Curtisgeiger ... I am a Newmar owner but have had very good results from Ron Jarvie. Have recommended him to several others and they would up going with him as well. He really knows the RV insurance business and has good pricing.

Because rates are based upon so many things (credit rating, driving history with tickets and accidents, state, etc), the only way to go is to have an independent insurance agent shop you insurance with multiple companies. It is their job to find the best rate and plan tailored to you. Find one that others have done well with and you can trust. Let him do his work. JMHO
Some of the ones ID'd here as "best", lowest, etc were most expensive for me.
Curt, I'm assuming your being military, you have USAA and they don't do motor coaches and will push you towards Progressive (as they also do with motorcycles). Progressive is very inexpensive for me for my motorcycle, with a motorcycle accident in my past...and they were twice as high for my coachas my final insurer. You can go to the ones ID'd here yourself, but to get the best rate, you'll need to check a lot. And each time you do a quote with a new company, your credit rating will drop 3 points. If an independent ins agent does it, at least he is taking your and shopping it with the company he thinks best for your situation.

We use Great American - rates are fine.
If I am not mistaken, in NC you can't get a discount for time in storage. DW was in insurance so she handles it and isn't here for a few days.

We used an insurance broker who found Blue Sky had the best rates for us, even with full replacement coverage.
