Is there a hose(s) coming off of the dirt devil? One goes upstairs and the other one if your 13 model 14 has a basement port goes to it. The real 14's do have a basement port.

Only has one hose coming out of the Dirt Devil.

I feel a little like the odd man out here, but we have found our builtin unit to be way more powerful than our Dyson. 2011 Aspire and it will just barely reach end to end but it does a great job for us.

Ray, I have a ‘14 Aspire 44b floor plan. I got curious as to my set up. There is only one hose line into/out of the Dirt Devil. My hose runs up then behind (guessing it’s running through a portion of the subfloor and I’ve got too much stuff blocking my view). From there, the hose splits three ways 1)for the wall plate, 2) for the floor sweep, and one line running to the basement wall plate.
The baggage door that is your tanks, (the one before your rear wheels on the passenger side) you can see the hoses or at least the one going to your basement. My hose color is the same white that exits the Dirt Devil.
If you have the fridge/freezer, as others have said, it should be on that wall, at least mine is but I don’t have the fridge….yet. The wall plate is blackish and not labeled. If you didn’t know it, you would think it is a covered outlet and on my floor plan, it is adjacent to both my water filters. As Chuck said, it’s got to be there.
Curious as to what you find.

I was all over the basement and didn't find it. After the new year I will pull the tank walls and look. Next to the two water filters is where my water pump is located, very familiar with that area. I do not have a freezer.

IIRC, it was the "new" mid year 14's with the $3,800 up charge package that started receiving the basement vac port.

That would make sense as mine is a late year 13 build of a 14. It just goes to show that not only model year matters but actual build time can matter.

Good memory Chuck, that would explain a lot.
Whatever was in that package makes the Dyson look like a bargain.

We found the same thing early on. The in-wall system was an attractive selling point, but soon showed itself to be a big hassle! We have our Dyson behind the driver’s seat in our 2015 Anthem, but now I’m going to look into fitting it in the bedroom closet. Thanks!

I use my built in and my knock off Dyson. Love the sweep port and have port behind Bathroom Door that allows me to vacuum entire Coach from Nose to Butt and lets not forget the port in the Basement that allows me to vacuum my basement and my Truck. I would not want just a handheld for my coach. I would still order the built in.
