WiFi Booster
Does anyone have experience with the pictured WiFi booster available through TechnoRV? If so, what is your experience with the product?

Peter, I have not use it as I created the same thing using David Bott’s blueprint.
In actuality, I don’t really connect to CG WiFi much anymore due to the severe bandwidth saturation.
Instead we simply use the AT&T Mobley as a gateway for our onboard WiFi.
With that being said, the system you asked about is available for approximately $138 via eBay sellers. At that price point it is almost exactly what I spent to set up our system.
Before buying, I would suggest that you attempt to learn if that system is as flexible as the one David Bott created.
For example, in addition to reeling in distant WiFi signals, the system David Bott designed, also acts as its own unique WiFi. To us, this is important as we stream all our programming and need to accommodate more devices than the Mobley will permit.
Additionally, we have devices we connect to our WiFi once, and they remain connected. The only changes made are if I decide for some reason to use a different method to gain access to the internet, other than the Mobley.
I know this doesn’t exactly line up with what you were seeking, but I hope it helps.
-Matt

Yes, we have it and it works well - if the campground WiFi is decent. I also use it to enhance our mifi. I would recommend it. Good customer service if you need it.

We have the desk top version & it works great for connecting to WiFi , however the campground WiFi is useless here , so the booster doesn’t help . For us it’s a waste of money . We ended up buying data instead .

If the campground wifi is decent - then it will boost it up to where it is useable. For example, our home at Bella Terra is semi-decent wifi ... but the emphesis is really on semi! With the Techno pro antenna, we can stream netflix if we wanted to do so. Without it, never. It is nice to be able to connect all your devices to one thing as well ....

James, here is a link to David’s website.
https://outsideourbubble.com/secure-...for-under-100/
If, for some reason the mods don’t like this link, just search for Outside our bubble or David Bott.
He’s the technical genius who understands all of these devices. I simply followed his advice, obtained the pieces on my own via Amazon (truly magic) and it works like a charm.
Initially I thought reeling in weak WiFi would be great, but I really don’t find most CG WiFi to have sufficient bandwidth or speed for even modest use. No matter how good your antenna, you can’t improve the throughput on the CG side.

Not sure if you are mostly on the road or mostly stationary in a park. What others are telling you and you need to seriously consider is how usable is the park WIFI where you are. If it is congested with a hundred other campers trying to access it and a limited size internet pipeline connected to it, no amount of equipment you can buy of the type you are considering will make your internet tolerable if the park WIFI is limited or bad.
I long ago concluded that park WIFI was a waste of time and effort 85 percent of the time, and like Matt, bought a chunk of cellular based WIFI which is far better than any park WIFI I have used in the past couple of years, regardless of how much the rent costs at the RV park I am parked at.
Be sure that where you are has a system that will meet your needs at some time other than 4:00 am or you are wasting your money.

I've used both a David Bot setup (with a bullet radio) and the Alpha Camp Pro. Both perform well. The Alpha Camp Pro is easier to get working due to USB vs. IP connection between the radios.
