Winegard

Any body have trouble connecting the Wingard WiFi to another wifi network?

I can sit in my driveway and connect my tv in the coach to my house wifi and stream just fine. When I connect coach tv to the winegard network and connect the winegard network to the house network, no streaming?

Not super technical here, but I thought this is what the winegard could do. Connect everything ( all devises ) to the winegard network and then only have to connect the winegard network to the camp site network and all devices should be good to go?

Appreciate any help.

Called Winegard, they are thinking about it over the weekend.

Unless you have high speed from the source you may not have sufficient speed from the Winegard extender to stream. My router speed at home is 200Mbps, once it goes through Winegard it slows to 20mbps. This is a clip of my speed test results. The top result is at Buckhorn, my iPad can’t pick up their signal without my extender. The middle result is sitting in my coach in my driveway at home, connected directly to my router in the house, bottom result is my home router through the Winegard extender. If you start with a slowish speed the result may be unusable.

My experience has been almost the opposite. With few exceptions, using campground wifi, I get faster speeds using the Winegard extender. I usually check speeds both with and without and then use the fastest. The Winegard is usually faster. And no issues streaming on the TV even at slow speeds. Just checked it again - connected through the Winegard to the campground wifi - download at 10.5 - connected direct to the same wifi - could not even get a test to complete.

And sorry for the late response to this...been a little busy around our house recently and I'm getting caught up. Couldn't resist commenting on this one.

I have a winguard TV antenna on our 2015 Aspire. At our house we switched from Direct to Dish. She got tired of the hassle since AT&T took them over.
We have Direct in our coach & was wondering how much it would take to switch it over to Dish. Thanks b.

I just switched this past February for $231 plus $51 shipping and $13.86 sales tax.
If you have a Hopper 3, add another $50 to buy the LNB for that or you can buy a DPH42 I have brand new in the box
