Ken, good to see your okay to go.Sounds like your right on the edge of a lost or weak signal due to a tree. if you haven't already done so, I would go into Hopper diagnostics and check the three satellite signal strengths. Normal strength out here in the West is about 50 to 70 for sat. 110 & 119, about 50 for sat 129. May be a little different in the Eastern US. "Dish Net."

Sat.129 usually seems to be the problem child and that's due to a difference in "skew alignment" from the other two sat's.

If your on the edge of signal loss due to vegetation you may see the signal varying up and down towards the weak side and when weak even clouds may cause some intermittent signal loss.

I would move the coach a few feet while watching the signal and see if the strength changes. Maybe you can find enough space to get the slide out.

Also, if you suspect the wobble with the dish you could get on the roof and have someone watch the signal while you wiggle the dish. If your sat 129 is always weaker than normal you probably have a bad LNB or possible loose /bad connector associated with that LNB.

Just a thought should you still want to fool around with it. Also a good tool whenever you suspect trees or other objects.

Yes, I did check the signal strengths and also had it do a switch check.
All is good with solid signals.

Thanks.

Moving the coach saved $2,000, it's a good day.

When I was reading the post and replies my first thought was trees. Sat 129 is the lowest towards the horizon of the 3 in the arc. Download the app SatFinder Lite, go to the settings and deselect all but 110, 119, and 129. Then you will have a valuable tool to resolve reception issues. If you spend much time in the northeast, include 61.5. You can manually change the Traveler controller to seek only 61.5 when you’re in a heavy tree area. Sat 129 will be very low on the horizon in the northeast and difficult in tree laden areas. With 61.5 you won’t be able to use the multi-sat capability of the Traveler without changing the LNB, but at least you will have the majority of popular channels.
