Not withstanding earlier comments, I find it interesting that while considering potentially buying a new coach a month ago, it was easy to find highly discounted 2019 and, yes, 2020 Entegras. What I couldn’t find were dealers listing significant discounts for Newmar and Tiffin. Don’t get me wrong, I like my Entegra, and after spending two months this Winter in a location where the temps rarely saw 45 degrees, claims about Entegra construction and insulation are BELIEVED, by this adherent.

But you have to admit, when compared to the sales techniques used for non-Entegra lines, prices and depreciation seem to track differently. But regardless of manufacturer, we are nearly 12 years into this boom (figuring 2008/9) was the low point. The purchase, and new purchase (and by some even 3rd or 4th coach during that time) of coaches is going to slow. Like it or not, we’re going to age out in 5-10 years. Unless Gen X, and then Millennials, see this as a viable lifestyle, sales have to slow. Maybe they don’t value the same things we do...you think!!!

And some of the glut, and surprising prices, may be related to that as well.

I think you are right on point - All of them. My kids don't see the value in the glamping life style even if they see camping in their future. We've had another couple begin the steps to stop full-timing and I never thought they would or at least not any time soon. Another couple downsized to a Class C.

We see the volume of units on the lots. Saturation is a real thing in many industries and finding new customers can be daunting. We have friends in the art world and once collectors reach a certain point they stop or slow buying. New blood is needed and it isn't clear were it will come from.

Don't worry about it. They soon will be the richest generation in history. I am sure they will figure out how to spend the money.

Exactly!
Besides I think their likes and dislikes will probably change many times in their lives. My first rv was when I was 52! I never had time for rving til I retired!

They view things differently than we do and I am not sure they are going to shell out that kind of money for one of these big dollar motorhomes
