Today's add from you know who is now minimum 40% off all remaining 19 luxury coaches ( !!! ) My Cornerstone (well, just like mine) is in the center of the picture. Now, lets see.... Roughly that means my coach can now be had for roughly $50,000 less than I paid for it...... and theirs doesn't have 22,000 miles on it..... Oh well, "not so easy come, but easy go"....
I still really can't complain about my deal at the time, but seeing these figures, does hurt a bit now...

10% depreciation first year is about right.

That is a great looking coach you are driving. And you already know its stripes, don't look back.

Wow, 40% off is a great deal, I only managed 37%. Still a much better deal than my local dealer though, he was over $7,000 higher!

Interesting.... my interpretation is the opposite.... Not enough people with enough money or interest in investing a pile of money into their "vacations" or retirement... That coupled with overproduction of coaches.... but that is really too sides of the same coin.

Chuck, I think it is worse than 10%, but what I do know is 15 Cornerstone purchased in 14, trading a 13 Anthem then, for 453k...today, best offer, although I couldn’t get an exact figure, because some of these more well known used car salespeople want to play games, was somewhere around $250-260. Whatever the case..if you don’t put 1/3 down, your going to be under water in approximately 3-4 years. I attribute that, JMHO, in an inflated MSRP, and the resulting deep discounting of 40% for 19s (plus over building and slow down of the sales market). Never was an investment, and you can’t take it with you...you won’t feel the comfort of a cash mattress in the casket...but it is getting real difficult for this guy to buy new...maybe better to purchase a vacation home to escape to during the months of cold and to avoid Florida no see ums

BTW, that 2019 listed in MHSRV web site is less than I paid new in 2014...guess I got taken, and am willing to admit it.

If you’re trading the bottom line is what counts. MHSRP has a history of good prices, but stealing your trade.

nirvc does the same as mhsrv .. they give very low trade amounts .. thats why there
prices are so low for these entegras on there websites.. owners trading in at 30 to 40% less than book allows them yo do this.. I see a 2014 anthem on there in the 180 g range
really... and you know there makeing a good proffit at that.. low book is 220 ramge on a 14.. thats what kills our values...

DW and I took a 3 month, 8000 mi trip to E coast. Neither of us had been back east. (Wow, Niagara Fall is pricey. $160 for 2 prime ribs, 1 appetizer, 1 glass of wine in the tower) MH ran well but... I had been recharging dash A/C every spring for 8 years. A weak spot with GM I hear. It finally went out. Boy was it hot in OK driving even with the house A/C. Had it rebuilt at NAPA Car Center. Nation wide warranty. I hope our trans. stays in good health pulling the CRV.
We started making reservations in January because of high season in N. Falls, Maine, Boston, Philadelphia, NY, DC, Nashville, etc. We left in July. Gettysburg is incredible and humbling.
I do all my own preventive maintenance and repairs on house and chassis but would never go into a generator, trans or motor.
Best of luck in your search for a replacement MH. I only know what I'v read on this forum regarding DP. Never owned a diesel of any kind.

Thank you for the kind words. I too added 2 cans of freon every spring to barely get me through summer. I personally want a diesel pusher, DW wants something small. Anyway, looks like a buyers market now.

I haven’t found that to be the case with NIRVC. I’m sure they like most dealers are going to offer to trade to their advantage as much as you let them.
Having a 2014 Anthem for 180,000 means nothing unless you know the condition. I’ve seen some I wouldn’t give that for.
