Stew:

Picked up the coach in Atlanta on Sept 19--exactly 5 months after ordering. Beautiful and drives great. Typical noises and other things that are easily fixed. Entegra has agreed to install the round table and overhead cabinet that goes between the dinette and the table with the TV lift and fireplace. Unfortunately, we will have to go to Middlebury in Jan/Feb for installation. I guess we will have the opportunity to use the floor heat since we don't have much need in Texas.

We saw pictures of your caravan. We know Kerchers and wagon masters Bob and Penny Wylie. They were our wagon masters when we went to the Maritimes five years ago.

Hope to see you soon at a ECOA, Entegra, FMCA, or NIRV gig. Maybe MHSRV will do something again in the future too.

I am 47 and the wife is 38. We bought ours last october and just turned 16k miles. In 13 months we have stayed/camped in 15 states. We are loving it. We just bought in Hearthside Grove Michigan and am building one for us (Lot 228) and 3 to potentially sell in phase 5. We are now looking to buy something out west and then maybe the Keys.

We are both 46. In fact our birthdays are 3 days apart. She was born in Iowa and me in Houston, but fate brought us together at 22. My heart skipped when I met her, and she has owned it ever since!

3 months after buying our Anthem my youngest was diagnosed with leukemia as he was finishing up the 5th grade. He was given 2 months, but has responded to the treatments and is fighting a good fight. My little man has not complained once!!! He makes me so proud. A lot of you have prayed for him and I will always remain eternally grateful!!!! We are looking forward to the day when he is fully cured so we can once again set off on more amazing adventures. We haven't had an opportunity to put that many miles on our coach, but are looking forward to meeting our Entegra family out on the road one of these days!

Safe travels everyone!

I am 59 and my wife is 61, we have both been retired for some time now & love traveling the USA & the world. We love our time spent in the Anthem but also love our bricks & mortar at our main home & our cabin in Idaho.

Gary,

I have read your comment several and hoping you should shed some additional light on what you mean by "Luckily I can have both, but both are important"

Just curious and don't want to jump to any conclusions

Thank you,

Jamie

My comment is simply that I am able to have both a coach and a house simultaneously, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. I know some owners who replaced the S&B house with the coach.... it was one or the other. For some that is fine, but for us, that would not be great. Life can change in an instant: major illness, death, injury, and confronting those things when a coach is the only option seems foolish to me..... hospital beds don’t fit well in our coaches. So, my point, I think, was simply that it is important to have all options open at a point in life (retirement, advancing age) where change can be sudden and I feel lucky that I have lots of options open.
