Well, with the mark up on new coaches and low trade in offers its a little hard for me to work up any sympathy for dealers handling warranty repairs.😢. JMHO

Not asking for sympathy nor expecting any just explaining why labor rates are so high it is not because they over pay the techs. In fact tech pay has remained about the same in the last 15 years. To be legal we have to charge you the same as warranty pays so a job that used to pay 1.5 hours and 60 per hour now pays .5 hour at 120 same job nothing changed used to cost you 90 bucks at the old labor rate now costs 60 bucks at new higher labor rate.

Thank you very much for your expertise and taking the time to pass the knowledge along to the rest of us here on the site. It is very much appreciated.

It is easy to understand the plight of the RV tech. You are absolutely correct that we expect them to be expert in more subjects than virtually any other tech service guy who specialized in only one or two of those.

Again, thanks for taking the time to teach those of us who dont yet know. Keep it up.
