They are both on the same chassis so chassis wise they are the same. The 2017's have a black tank flush added which is really handy. I believe the rest of the changes will be pretty minor.

The 2016 also has black tank flush. Also has soft-touch ceiling and Dyson vacuum. Not sure if those items discontinued in 2017.

The Dyson was not a Winnebago option was it?. The soft touch ceiling is there in '17s. '17s manufactured after Aug 1, 2016 didn't have the recalled steering wheel mounted volume control module.

You are correct luvlabs! I had Forester in mind.

Since the OP didn't mention a coach specifically, black tank flush isn't relevant to their question, though it is correct that the feature was added to the View/Navion for the 2017 year.

One thing to keep in mind, or at least I would when buying a used Sprinter, the newer it is, the longer the Mercedes warranty will be for its next owner. The MB and emissions warranties transfer automatically. 5yrs, 100k for the engine and emissions. 3yr 36k for the MB new car warranty. At least that was the case with our 2017.
