The plugs don't match, a 50A and 30A plug are configured differently. The adapters are cheap, I carry a 50A to 30A and 30A to 15/20A and then I adjust my input panel to 30 or 20A as needed.
If the campsite only offers 30A, and I presume yours is 50A, you will need and adapter like this one.

It looks like, from looking on Winnebago's website that your Coach has a 30 amp. service. You will only need a adapter to go from 30 amp. to 15/20 amp. if you desire to plug into a smaller outlet . In my travels, if there is a 50 amp. service, there will also be a 30 amp. service, and most of the time all 3 in the pedestal .
This is the 15 amp. to 30 amp. adapter.

This is an interesting question. If your coach has a 50A service plug/cord you will need an adapter for 30A. If a 30A service plug/cord you will need a 50A adapter. If you want to keep your batteries up when in storage or between trips and you have access to a 20A outlet, you will need a 20A adapter. Some of these go from 20 to 30 then 30 to 50. These are often called dog bones because of the configuration shape.
One question answered from the Winnebago site: View | Specifications | Winnebago RVs
You have a 30A service cord so you will need a 30A to 50A adapter.
Happy New Year and Happy Trails.

Does the plug on the electric cord for your Winnebago View fit into a 50A or a 30A campground pedestal receptacle??
If it fits a 50A receptacle you will need an adapter to plug it into a 30A campground receptacle.
If if fits a 30A receptacle you will need an adapter to plug it into a50A campground receptacle.

Whoa... This discussion seems to be getting more complicated than necessary. A Winnebago View is a 30 amp coach. (I know because I have the same Winnebago/Itasca version "Navion"). Most all campgrounds and RV parks have 30 amp service. If the sites are 50 amp, it's usually in addition to having 30 amp.
So for 30 amp service no adapter is needed. Be careful about plugging in with an adapter to a standard type 20 amp outlet. You won't have enough capacity to run multiple high draw appliances like AC, electric water heater, microwave, etc at the same time.
In the rare instance you encounter a 50 amp only site you'd need a 50 amp male to 30 amp female adapter.

IMO that answer is the perfect answer to mransford's question.

He needs to go ahead and get the 50 amp to 30 amp adapter.
As there is some newer campgrounds today that have only 50 AMP hook ups.
And I have been to many that the old 30 AMP breaker is weak and trips easily.
Then the 50 AMP adapter comes in handy to use with those.

Murphy's law still exists, so it doesn't hurt to have every adapter known to man . You're not gonna get much power out of a 15A, but I used to run a single A/C on a 20A receptacle until installing the recommended 30A in our garage.

I agree. But, to be on the safe side, having a dog bone along is not a bad idea. If the 30A service is has a bad receptacle or breaker the 50A to 30A option is just might save the day.

http://www.amazon.com/Camco-55175-Po...+power+adapter
With correct spelling.
Take a look at Amazon.com under RV power adapters. This will give you about all the choices available.
On a side note, many folks RVing support using a surge protector. Here are some examples:
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_0_8?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=rv+surge+protector&sprefix=rv+surge%2Caps %2C285
I hope this helps.
