Dash codes on Mercedes Coachman Prism

We bought a 2016 Coachman Prism almost a year ago and love it, because it is the perfect size. However, we have had a few hiccups. Has anyone else experienced electronic issues with the Prism? If so, is there a secret you care to share that can help clear these up?

If you mean CEL (check engine lights) they get set by the PCM/TCM or whatever control module has detected the error, and they mean there's a problem somewhere. Get a Scan Gauge II or other similar CEL code readers, plug into the OBD II port under the dash, and see what actual codes have been set, and google them for more info.
Or, just take it to a MB Sprinter "qualified workshop" and get it analyzed/serviced.

Check Engine Light & Battery Disconnect

Bogus Check Engine Light. Yep I had this problem. It reoccurred About Three weeks after having it reset by MBZ Dealer.

Both times: It was a 87 Relay (or something 87) anyway it was a bogus code & their data reference recommended that they just reset it.

After the second time: They told me I was Not waiting 10-minutes for the computer system to finish its checks before I pulled the Chassis Disconnect (I started during this after having to have the Radio & Camera Switcher power supply to downstream of the Ignition Key).

Not enough time has lapsed to see if the New Process corrected the problem, but I think it will.

I just went through my OM and found that the recommended time before disconnecting or reconnecting the chassis battery main switch cable is "two minutes" with the key in position 0 (zero), which is the off/lock steering wheel position. I had always thought it was "ten minutes".
Obviously, better to take too long, than too short a time.
