Front end alignment

How can I tell if the adjustment bolts for setting camber have been installed? Can you tell by looking? I know there is a kit available for about $20 per side, but I don't know if it has been installed previously or not. I believe camber was adjusted before leaving the factory.

I took my Siesta in for alignment, MB said I needed offset camber bolts. The regular bolts would not allow enough adjustment. The $20 bolt install added about $200 to the alignment.. Not warranty unless needed for alignment in the 1st 90 days.
Hopefully your alignment shop can determine if you have the offset bolts.

I believe this shows how they are installed.

Thanks for the reply. I had viewed that article earlier today. I think you should be able to see the flutes in the bolt where they stick out past the nut - I don't see any on mine.

I also wondered about the cost to install the bolts. My alignment shop is looking into ordering some for my appt next week. Visually, Camber looks to be out in the positive direction. I had the alignment checked in 3/18 and it was well within specs. But I am experiencing abnormal tire wear and just replaced the two front Vanco tires with about 16k on them with the Michelin Cross Climate.
