Hey John. Sounds like your battery isolator relay may be bad. A further test to confirm this is to see if your chassis battery receives a charge while you’re on shore power or generator power. If you’re getting no cross charging either way, then the odds are it’s a defunct relay, also known as a contactor. I don’t have a wiring diagram for you, but that relay is most likely in your Battery Control Center. It is hooked up to two bus bars, one from the chassis battery and the other from the coach batteries. A $40 part that’s not that difficult to change out. Just had to replace mine a few months ago. Several youtube videos on bow to do it.
Best of Luck! Keep us updated.

If it's a 2010 Jayco Melbourne 26A, as indicated in your signature, and it's actually on a Sprinter chassis (you're in the Sprinter Chassis Forum), check the chassis breakers on the outside base of the passenger seat. If not the problem, the wiring for the battery isolator/separator may be located under the passenger seat. Could be the solenoid is shot.

The relay ( solenoid ) that handles the charging also handles the boost start.
Find the boost start switch and press it on and off while listening for it to clunk.
If its clunking, you can hold the switch on to see if it charges. If it dies, the solenoid is good. If not it has burnt internal contacts.
It may be out above the brake master cylinder, under the hood.

Near the top, left side of any page, there's a small very hard to see "User CP" button/drop down.
Click it, scroll down a bit, and then select "Edit Signature" while logged in.
You can update it there.

Hey John, I have the same problem. You should be able to download or view a wiring diagram for your rig from the Winnebago site.
